4 out of 5 eggsStill good

Pros: I recently oc'd mine to 3.125 GHz stable @ 1.35V; temps are sitting around 39 degrees celsius w/ cores @ 16 and 20 degrees respectively. My only cooling solution is 3 120mm fans in my case and the stock fan/heatsink it came with; purchased it almost a year ago and it still works great.

CPU score of 2235 in 3DMark06, and 7987 in 3DMark Vantage

Cons: It's a little behind the times; and slow compared to what is available now.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to drop a temporary 6000+ Black Edition in my new mainboard; then buy an AM3 945 Black Edition when they become available.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I think its a great price for the performance, I've now bought three of these in the past year and they perform well.

Cons: Of course theres faster CPU's out there.

5 out of 5 eggsGood overclocker

Pros: Great CPU. I have it running stable at 3.0Ghz (240x12.5)on stock cooling and only a .1v increase. Idles at about 34c-38c. high load in the mid 40's.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Am able to run FSX on ultra high settings with this CPU, a 8800gtx clocked at 742/1210, and 4Gb (4x1Gb) corsair XMS6400. Hangs around 20-25 fps.
Oh, and Newegg ROCKS!!!

Install process was easy and unit started right up on first boot. Great CPU for the price. recommend THIS PRODUCT

Cons: NONE SO FAR.

Other Thoughts: SUGGEST TO USE EXTRA THERMAL COMPOUND WITH HEAT SINK.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: At default speeds this is already a great processor. I haven't had any problems running programs or modern games at high settings with it (including Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4). Overclocks well (I have mine up to 2.8 ghz). Very cool on stock cooling even.

Cons: CPU fan can be loud.

Other Thoughts: Possibly the best budget CPU you can buy right now. More than enough to handle most anything you throw at it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Processor

Pros: Works without issue, handles mild overclock, runs reasonably cool with stock cooler, fan is quiet.

Cons: I thought it was going to perform better, although it's OK.

Other Thoughts: I should have used a better motherboard. (Trying to save a buck)

5 out of 5 eggsNice little AMD

Pros: Great value for a processor. I am not a fanboy of either AMD or Intel, but will absolutely concede that AMD is a better value dollar for dollar.

Installed this on a low end ECS board, 2GB G.Skill -from the egg - and Vista took 19 minutes to install to the desktop after first optimization.

Customer is ipgrading from Celery 1.3GHz so this will be shockingly fast.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: If you are reading this wondering about the speed - especially if it is for a build for antoher person, trust me, unless you are in the market for a massive gaming machine, this hasall the power you will need.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality from AMD

Pros: Near-silent OEM fan compared to the fan that came with my 4200+ 2 years ago. More than enough power for basic computing and even moderate gaming. Can't beat AMD for performance/price.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a single-core Athlon 3800+. Paired with 2Gig OCZ ram on my ECS GeForce6100SM motherboard to upgrade a really cheap e-Machine I had lying around. With the 7600GS this will make a decent low-to-mid level gaming rig.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat did you expect?

Pros: Easy to install
works fine
it is a processor, what you cant really tell too much about it.

Cons: nothing.

Other Thoughts: didn't need the heatsink and fan
i put it in a shuttle mini computer.
you have nothing to worry about unless you are thinking price wise, and are wanting to overclock or something.
