good
- Pros: it does what it says it does
- Cons: isn't free
Great Cpu...:)
- Pros: 89w, 2x1mb cache,price, 2x3.0gigs of blazin' speed!
- Cons: the WORST heatsink I have ever seen. smallest case badge I have seen also......1 negative point for all this Con info. I already have two descent heatsinks waiting for this beast. Odd multiplier as mentioned before, forcing overclock for 1:1 ratio with 800mhz ram.
- Other Thoughts: I figured if I upped the fsb to 214mhz then it should give me 400mhz ram. Hopefully my Foxconn 790FX can handle it. If not, Oh well. Cpu is fast enough.
"Amd, try not to box heatsinks like that again. How could you trust anything like that. I bet it couldn't keep a popsicle cool!"
- Pros: Excellent value. Fast. 2MB L2 cache. Stays cool at idle with Cool n Quiet enabled (34) and not too hot during load on the stock heatsink+fan (55).
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Take advantage of great values on dual core processors since quad cores have been released.
Huge speed increase from previous AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+.
