Good cpu for the price.
- Pros: Fairly fast
AM3 DDr3 support
45nm
2MB l2 cache, as apposed to the last generation with 1MB
Stock cooler is good enough for this chip

- Other Thoughts: Very fast for what you get. Boots vista in less than 20 seconds from power button to desktop. Runs very cool, idles at 22C, 38C max load. Ambient temp 20C.
If you are looking for a good budget AM3 chip, this is it. Vista feels much quicker than my old e6750 DDR2 system it replaced.

- Pros: Awesome increase in minimum FPS compared to previous BE-2350. I had no idea my CPU was holding back my video card so much.
Overclocked stable to 3.5 at stock voltage. This caused a minimal increase in heat and power draw at full load.
In my opinion this is currently AMD's best value CPU. Great gaming and overclocking potential for the money.

It's not a Phenom II 965
Will never unlock to something it was never intended to be.
- Other Thoughts: This is a great value now, but AMD does intent to expand the Athlon II lineup to include quads and low power CPUs as well. Still, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this buy this CPU.

Fast!
- Pros: This things great. Installs simply. Fast! just bought it with a biostar a785ge motherboard and 2 gigs of ram and everything is lightning fast. Havent tryed to overclock it yet but ive heard it overclocks well. I dont know if its because i have a case with good air flow but this thing hasnt run above 28 degrees c with the stock fan.
