Pros: unlocked to a quad core phenom fx 5000!!!!!!!!!
Cons: NONE!!!!
Other Thoughts: I used this with the GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H to unlock it to quad.Not guaranteed to work every time though but it's worth a try!!!!!

Pros: Was able to unlock the 2 turned off cores to make it a quad core with 6MB of L3 cache using an ASUS M4A785-M motherboard. Stress tested with Prime95 for 24 hrs with no problems and been running 24/7 stable for 3 weeks.

Pros: Easy installation
The fan and heat sink were easy to install.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I installed this in an ASRock A780GXH/128M motherboard. I was a bit worried it wouldn't work since it isn't listed on the ASRock site as a compatible processor, but it worked beautifully. It booted the first time. The BIOS recognized it as the correct processor, and it recognized both cores. As with a lot of AMD processors the fan and heatsink were a little challenging to install, but really it isn't anything that can't be handled in a couple minutes of fiddling around and lining things up. Nice processor, and a good value.

Pros: No trouble installing. The included heat sink and fan were fairly easy to manipulate and install.
Cons: None.
