5 out of 5 eggsNice Product

Pros: Better than paying for an Intel. I never had an issue with AMD. High performance lower cost.

Cons: Gots to replace the heat sink and fan if you want to keep it cool and QUITE!!!

Other Thoughts: Be sure the motherboard can handle the 125W

I got this close to a year ago, now 8 cores with 8mb cache :( about same price

5 out of 5 eggsGood CPU.

Pros: This is a great processor for the all levels of tech skill/knowledge. As this being the 4th PC that I have built in this last decade & switching from Intel to AMD. I can say this is a great CPU for anyone who wants to learn the basics of OC'ing, gaming or both. I've ran the CPU on 4.2GHz on PRIM95, FF XIV benchmark, and Folding@Home for an average of 12-24 hrs without any issues. It can get hot a times (hottest for me was 55c) but that depends on the time and GHz you run it at (also the cooling system). With a good water-cooler or High End fan heatsink you can easily OC it without any problems. All you really have to watch for is the Volts. If you're looking for the bang for buck kinda deal then this is a good buy, the stability, reliability, dependability, OCing with no issues only for 179.99 (199.99 when I got it) & .. 1100T is silly to get. You can always OC this CPU and get the same results as the1100T. The Difference is the stock speed.

Cons: AMD is still trying to play catch up with Intel. The Phenom II BE series is the best out there for AMD the moment. A buddy of mines has an i5 2500k and a cousin of mine has the 8150. We ran several bench marks in the same room with same conditions. i5 is better than the new AMD chip was either at par or had a score of a few points less than the i5... or more but by a few points. But as for this CPU, I'm not complaining too much.

Other Thoughts: My built:
1090T (this processor)
Noctua NH D14
MSI 6950 Twin Frozr II OC 2GB
MSI 890 FXA-GD70
NZXT Phantom Full Tower
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 12GB(4x3)
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Beautiful

Pros: Have been running this CPU for almost a year. While it may not be the fastest CPU, it sure is sweet. Fast enough, six real cores, does not get hot at all, turbo core is really nice, goes down to 800mhz when not working, handles Skyrim on Ultra with no problems. No issues, not one. Six cores means it handles more processes. What can I say? It's beautiful.

Cons: I have no cons at all other than they are hard to find for sale now so I guess they are no longer in production? That's a con. Believe me when I say this CPU and the 1100 will go down as one of the great CPU's ever for it's time.

Other Thoughts: If you haven't bought one I actually am sad for you lol.

5 out of 5 eggsLovin it

Pros: Aug 29, 11 was my purchase date and I'm lovin it, got it as a combo w/mb (ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS) for a ground up rebuild (new tower and the rest of the works). Sofar I have no need to over clock it but I look forward to the time that I have a reason to.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: waiting till I get my other 8gigs of ram to try and strain it while over clocking.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: I am an AMD person, as all my systems run AMD. This was a great upgrade for my 5 yr old system, havent done a full overclock, but my SETI@HOMES stats exploded. This thing stays cool, with liquid cooling.

Cons: NONE!

5 out of 5 eggsUltimate Power!

Pros: Awesome CPU I upgraded due to the demand of gaming and more importantly VMware Workstation. I can run 4 or VM's with not a single hickup.

Cons: None, 6 cores under $200.00

Other Thoughts: I kind of wish I'd have waited till the new FX cheaper FX processors came out. But this when has a higher voltage.

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems

Pros: Solid Six Core CPU. It gets the job done. I'm running it with 8GB RAM and GTX 470 Nvidia along with a Corsair 256GB SSD. Never had a lick of problems. System boots in 15 seconds from cold start every morning when I get up to shower. You cannot beat it for the price. There is no way I'm paying as much for a Proc as I do for a Video card or SSD. Intel does not have that much of an advantage in speed to consider costing up to 5 times as much as this processor. If you like throwing money away, then by all means buy an Intel. I run AMD because they are the only competitor to Intel and I don't want Intel to monopolize the market. AMD simply gets the job done.

Cons: None that I've come across. Though I don't OC anything in my system as I've never found the need. Never had booting issues, heat issues, or the like.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a stable platform then go with the six core. As long as you don't do anything stupid like bending a pin or installing it wrong, or come across the random DOA, then it should work like a champ. That one thing that I am not sure of is if it supports over 16GB of RAM. To my knowledge the memory controller still sits on the CPU, so take some time for research if you plan on dumping over 16GB of RAM into your system.
