5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for the buck!

Pros: Wow i bought this as a temporary CPU for my girlfriends rig of 600gb hd, asus gtx 550ti, 8gb gskill ram, 700wpsu, This thing preforms suprisingly well, we've played games together skyrim, Guild wars 2, EQ2 and man this thing performs great it keeps up with my Phenom ii X4 965 BE stock within 10-20fps usually until i OC to 4Ghz. I only paid like 80$ for it a year ago so can't beat the price.

Cons: None, i do notice a stutter sometimes compared to my Phenom ii x4 965 BE but i can't beat the performance for the price.

3 out of 5 eggsWhat happened, NewEgg?

Pros: Good price, good CPU, fast delivery

Cons: Poor packaging, bent pins

Other Thoughts: I don't buy many OEM CPU's but took a shot at this one and I felt if anyone could be trusted with this, NewEgg would. I received it about the same time an X3 went on sale so I put this on the shelf awating a new build...which I started today. I had not looked so closely when I first received this so when I took it out of the plastic container I was appaled with the number of bent pins I had to straighten. I spent 90 minutes doing this and I am not a happy camper. You need to do better NewEgg.

Pros: Works great. Runs cool. Plays true 1080p.

Cons: Had to pick a few pieces of the pink foam out of the pins.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid

Pros: I purchased the box (retail) version of this CPU over a year ago added a better heat sink and easily OC'd it to over 3.4 with stock voltages. It's been one of the best and most used PC's in my house (I have 4 AMD builds).

Cons: I paid to much for my Phenom II X4 965 running stock

Other Thoughts: With a COOLER MASTER Hyper TX3 RR-910-HTX3-G1 this thing runs about 44-45c in an 80f room afters hours of heavy game play.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat buy

Pros: Inexpensive, more than enough power for average user. Overclocks well. Plays all the COD games no problem.

Cons: for this price, I wouldn't get picky

Other Thoughts: Overclocked to 3.5 easily and stable. I have a 965 BE that runs stock at 3.4 and it seems a little faster. For the money, this CPU is a great deal

4 out of 5 eggsBENT PINS

Pros: THIS IS A GREAT PROCESSOR - BUT....................

Cons: THIS IS THE SECOND OF THESE PROCESSORS THAT I HAVE BOUGHT FOR BUILDS FOR CUSTOMERS. THE FIRST ONE CAME IN PERFECT CONDTION. THE SECOND CAME WITH AT LEAST ONE-THIRD OF THE PINS BENT BECAUSE OF THE CRUMMY PACKAGING NEWEGG IS USING TO SHIP THESE IN. THIS ARRIVED ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND I PROMISED THE GUY HIS PC WOULD BE READY ON MONDAY. SO I SPENT HOURS AND HOURS CAREFULLY STRAIGHTENING THE PINS BEFORE I COULD GET IT TO SIT IN THE SOCKET. I IMAGINE NEWEGG BUYS THESE IN TRAYS FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND DOES THEIR OWN PACKAGING BREAKING THEM DOWN TO SELL. COME ON NEWEGG, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS. 1 EGG OFF FOR POOR PACKAGING.

Other Thoughts: I have bought many OEM processors over the years from Newegg and this is the second one that came with bent pins (the first only had a couple of bent pins and that was a few years ago). I believe the problem lies with the pink foam pads they are using to package the cpu's because the were many pink fibers entwined in the bent pins of this cpu. They used to use a black foam pad with a denser foam material that was much better. I have seen quite a few other reviews on oem cpu's where others are having the same problem. I hope Newegg can find a solution to this problem. Until then I guess I'll stick with retail cpus.
Other than this Newegg has always been the best place on the net for all my parts purchases.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cpu!

Pros: -Great quad core.
-Awesome price.
-AM3 socket.
-Slightly overclockable.

Cons: -None that are of importance.

Other Thoughts: This is a fantastic cpu to buy if you need a quad core on a budget, or if you're looking for a new cpu that you can mess around with overclocking.

If you're looking for an easy overclock with little to no work you can get it to 3.2 easily, but it's possible to get over 3.6 with the proper cooling solution.

1 out of 5 eggsBent Pins

Pros: AMD, on sale, combo deal, and free shipping.

Cons: CPU was out of it's container lying in the bottom of the box. It had many bent pins and I had to RMA it for another one. The new one looks to be in good shape but have not used it yet because I used another CPU I already had for this build. A triple core box.

Other Thoughts: After spending time and money shipping this back I could have paid for a faster box X4. Since it is an AMD I am sure it will be a fine part of another machine I put together.
