5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly fast!

Pros: Bought this to replace my Phenom 9600 Agena, and what a difference! I was a little worried before I installed it and almost purchased a Phenom II instead for the L3 cache. Well I have came to find out, that L3 cache does not make much of a difference. This CPU impressed me so much, its making the cut into my new build this month!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Will be transferring from my old rig to my new rig (see below)

5 out of 5 eggsAthlon 2 x4 64 for the win.

Pros: Way faster than my salvaged 4800mhx dual core amd processor. Boost framerate in tribes ascend from 17-25 to 80 to 90 that running a hd 7770 msi graphics card. Low setting but it very playable now. No problems installing on a Gigabyte ga-ma770-ds3 version 1 motherboard only had to flash bios to f8f and it worked wonder. Super quiet now compared to my old processor and video card.

Cons: It was on sale and i didn't win it for free.

Other Thoughts: If you have a motherboard that will support the am3 chips and your running a dual core AMD do yourself a favor and get this super quad it does make a difference and you will not be disappointed in your purchase.

Always buy the boxed AMD processor the warranty is worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsThe computer guy

Pros: 4 cores 109.00 bucks. Hmmm no brainer.

This is what I put in my standard production line of computers. Can handle more bandwidth per core compared to the I5. That and its cheaper

Cons: Not a dang thang

Other Thoughts: You need to brig back the athlon II x2 regor core procesors.

Pros: Great CPU! runs great no problem.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: @ Lionhear

"Cons: - Not Good for Gaming
- No L3 Cache"

Not good for gaming? you sure about that? I play BF3 on ultra, L4D2, and Tera Online with this CPU with high FPS and it runs at 40-55degree no problem. Why would you put "NO L3 Cache" as a con, of course you bought this CPU knowing that it has no L3 cache.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Processor, Not Great for Gaming even considering Budget

Pros: - Handles normal everyday computer tasks at a good speed.
- Cheap price.
- Decent Fan

Cons: - Not Good for Gaming
- No L3 Cache

Other Thoughts: Bought this for my girlfriends rig, on my main gaming machine I use an i7 930 which was only $200 on the market when available, and it just blows this processor out the water by a milestone. Was looking to get a bulldozer but with the bad reviews, I was wondering if this could do a good job, but it just didn't pull through for me.

Wish I had just a little more money getting a far better processor. Ended up getting a phenom II black edition quad, because this couldn't handle playing multiplayer games.
