5 out of 5 eggsAdequate CPU

Pros: Fast enough for many games, (Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood)
Easily overclockable

Cons: Not quad-core

Other Thoughts: On stock air, this CPU stays 28-36° Celsius.
Stable over clocking to 3.5Ghz
Unstable, (And possibly melted) at 3.9Ghz

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Nice, low power dual core. Plenty fast for most everything.

Cons: Not a quad core

Other Thoughts: Great cpu for a low power MITX desktop build. Runs fine with a 150W PSU.

My build-
CPU: AMD X2 240e
HDD: Hitachi 320GB
ODD: Samsung slimline drive
CASE: Antec ISK300-150

4 out of 5 eggsGood choice

Pros: Excellent choice for mini ITX builds due to the low power consumption while still offering decent speed. Teams up very well with the Asus M4A88T-I MB. Runs pretty cool with stock Heat sink and fan, even in very small case. OC's easily and runs stable.

Cons: A little pricey compared to the regular 240.

Other Thoughts: Used the Asus core unlocker feature but no joy, just a two core. This processor, above mentioned MB, INWIN ITX case and 4 gigs of GSkill ram has been a great upgrade over my old Media PC. It takes up less than half the space and I have been able to watch HD movies, run a virus scan and provide the music content in another room with out any issues or slowdowns.

5 out of 5 eggscool core

Pros: It's a great dual core for cheap gaming. No problems with it so far.

Cons: just a dual core, not a brand spankin' new 6 core, but oh well.
