I have been running the 1100t at 4 ghz for over a year and not one issue. Cons: if i had to make one up, it would be. did not wait for the 8 core! Other Thoughts: worms my coffee in the am! Getting the after-market CPU cooler installed is more challenging than Intel. No stable overclock. Other Thoughts: Can't seem to get this guy to take a stable overclock. Have tried many combinations over the last year or so and nothing works. If you want the most speed and a stable overclock, go with Intel. Pros: Bought for ability to take whatever I threw at it and it has come for through time and time again. Never overclocked but almost no need; figured that i could OC later if I ever wanted more bang out of it. MORE than adequate for doing heavy HD video conversion and gaming AND multitasking without showing signs of getting bogged down. SO glad I got this chip when it did as it sells for more now than when I bought it on sale! Added a Hyper 212 with push/pull fans and never see temps over 36°C. RECOMMEND!
