5 out of 5 eggsGreat Quad core

Pros: I really love amd and for less than $100 to get a quad core 2.8 GHZ processor is amazing!

Cons: Can't think of any yet

Other Thoughts: I think it runs a little hot, but to be honest I dont really know

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Upgrade

Pros: Nice quad core AM3 CPU that worked nicely in an older AM2+ motherboard. Made for an awesome upgrade. Chip runs cool (not overclocked). Great price.

Cons: Non so far.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded an older AMD Athlon 64 dual-core with this puppy - noticeable performance improvements.

5 out of 5 eggsPh2 X4 2.8

Pros: The chip was easy to install, I had no hold ups at all. After upgrading from an X2 5000+ (2.6) to this quad at 2.8 and adding 4 more gigs of ram(8 total), my SWTOR framerates rose 30+. The shipping was fast cheap and tracked accurately tnx to UPS.

Cons: I haven't noticed a con, if I do I will update.

Other Thoughts: This was the fastest chip Newegg had that my ASUS AM2+ MB would support after bios flashing. I was hoping to go with a 3.2 or 3.4 chip, after searching Newegg/google I couldn't find any in stock that ASUS showed as supported for my board, I am glad I found this chip available.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: OC's easily from 2.8Ghz to 3.3Ghz without a voltage increase. Low temps with a Thermaltake V1 CPU Cooler.

Cons: The multiplier is not unlocked like other Deneb cores.

Other Thoughts: This is paired with a BIOSTAR TA990FXE until I feel the need to upgrade to an AMD3+ CPU. With this CPU + MB you just need to increase your FSB from 200 to 239-240mhz.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this thing!

Pros: This is a great CPU for the money. I'm getting a huge increase in performance over my former cpu, an Athlon64 x2 and it overclocks well, too. I'm running it at 3.2Ghz with a Coolermaster fan and a 24-hr stress test with Prime95 never got above 51C.

Cons: None that I can think of...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I had bought this processor to replace my dual core amd chip that just wasnt cutting it anymore with my games. Love it, money well spent.

Cons: Nothing major at all. After reading other reviews, I knew beforehand that I would need to go and get some thermal paste, as it did not come with any.

Other Thoughts: This, along with a new PSU, were the first purchases I've made from newegg, and will most certainly not be the last.

5 out of 5 eggsLow-cost, fast, quad-core.. What more do you need?

Pros: Fast, quad-core, overclockable for under $100!

Cons: - Only 1 temperature sensor, not a big deal
- For some reason runs at 40 idle, most likely a heatsink issue

Other Thoughts: Replaced my outdated Athlon 64 5000+ dual core processor and it made a huge difference in games! This chip fit right in to my extremely old M2N-E AM2 board and runs Skyrim, Saints Row 3, and The Witcher 2 on near max settings.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cpu!!!

Pros: Runs Fast and cool.
6mb L3 Cache
2mb L2 Cache

runs games very fast with gtx 460 and geforce 560ti cards.

Cons: Was expecting more performance close to the Q9550.

Other Thoughts: performance is between a q6600 and q9550 quad core CPUs.
I own both of those and other core 2 duos and also Athlon II cpus.

Good upgrade from an athlon II x2 250 CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Chip

Pros: Worked right out of the box. I just plugged it in and booted the computer first time. This was an upgrade from a sempron chip, and it's much faster. I'm really glad I bought it.

Cons: None, yet.
