5 out of 5 eggsSolid CPU!

Pros: I'll have owned this CPU for 3 years coming February and I can safely say that it has been a pleasure. I've had no troubles running this thing in a machine that games constantly. The 960T has proven to be a good purchase. Not to mention it's basically an Phenom X6.

Cons: one, if you consider considering reapplying thermal paste after 3 years of usage a con.

Other Thoughts: Awesome budget cpu, worth the $100, I paid 3 years ago. Still being used in a stable gaming build today.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Chip / Value

Pros: I payed around $110 for the chip 2 years ago. I sometimes consider upgrading to an newer FX CPU, but every time I look at the reviews there just isn't enough performance gain to justify buying a new CPU. I've been running the CPU with all 6 Cores enabled at 3.6Ghz for 2 years and its still 100% stable. 3.7Ghz is where it tended to get a bit flaky for me. I use a zalman air-cooler. I had originally intended the machine I built around this CPU to be a stop gap PC until I did a major upgrade a year later. I purchased a 7850 to go along with it. Since performance in the CPU / GPU high end has been a bit stagnant over the past couple of years, this combination has last me much longer than I thought. Along with a decent SSD, this system performs anything I can throw at it without issue.

Cons: I don't really believe I have one. I knew what I was purchasing before I got it, its met or exceeded my expectations in all scenarios.

Other Thoughts: I have no idea if AMD reads this or not, but if you do - I would love to buy your CPUs again, but anything thats currently out is either not a substantial upgrade (current line of FX CPUs) or performs lower than what I have (A-Series). Give me a CPU that provides a reasonable upgrade, and I'll gladly buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING CPU

Pros: I have had this for about 2 years now and it's simply amazing. It runs cool, around 32 idle and when gaming, it goes to maybe 40c. It's 6 cores is running. and using the Asus mb software, it's overclocked to 3.7 mhz. I added a liquid cpu cooler and ssd. I paid less then $100.00 for this cpu. I found a real deal a few years ago. And, until this thing blows up, it's perfect and they should never have stopped making this fine piece of hardware!

Cons: None-

Other Thoughts: AMD goofed when they stopped making these. Actually they goofed when they made it a 6 core, then decided to try sell it as a 4 core so they could push their new 6 core dozer. Dumb!

5 out of 5 eggsOK for 6

Pros: Crunches right along using all 6 cores. Set back to 4 for quietness.

Cons: Factory fan is pretty loud with all 6 cores enabled.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for it's time

Pros: Mine opened all 6 cores and accepted some moderate OC'ing up to 3.5/3.6Ghz before becoming unstable. it has running with all cores for over a year at 3.3Ghz and an Ultra Chilltec black doing cooling duty completely flawless except nVidias NVidia Experience software refuses to identify it when cores are unlocked or OC'd but I put that on NVidia not AMD.

Cons: Not available anymore....

Other Thoughts: we need a new era price leader budget performance chip like this one...

5 out of 5 eggstough little thing

Pros: I think the real test of a processor is only measured after owning it for quite some time. This processor has excelled in anything that I've thrown at it. I would recommend this processor to anyone wanting to run current generation games. Runs Aion like a dream, runs Mount and blade great. Don't have any technical specs on this other than observation from running games. Oh! and I've never needed anything but the factory fan.

Cons: Not good girlfriend replacement
