5 out of 5 eggsGreat For A Basic PC

Pros: Built an inexpensive basic entry level system for a senior citizen who is not a gamer or enthusiast. Had a video card just in case but did not need it. Instead I assigned 2GB of memory to the video. Bargain for ordinary home use. APU, motherboard, and 8GB memory cost less than $200.00

Cons: Not exactly a con but the stock cpu heatsink and fan that come with the retail version of this APU aren't the greatest. I bought this OEM version and installed a third party heatsink and fan that is quieter and does a better job of cooling the cpu.

Other Thoughts: Would also be suitable for a home theater pc and some games. Would not be suitable for hardcore gamers and enthusiasts. AMD is releasing their brand new Trinity Socket FM2 APU this month. The first Socket FM2 motherboard was released yesterday morning.

5 out of 5 eggsAMD A6-3650

Pros: Good APU at a good price point considering you will have to get a CPU cooler for it anyways because the stock one is junk.

Works well for just about anything you want to do. For average user to mid gamer, this thing will do it. I have tested the hole family of Llano's from A4-3300 all they way up to A8-3870 and the A6 is the sweet spot between the mix.

Also I have overclocked this APU all the way to 3.2GHz stable on average.

Cons: Stock cooler is junk
no L3

Other Thoughts: Go OEM to save a few bucks and use it to get a better cooler, I use Cooler Master Hyper 101 and Rosewill RCX-ZAIO-92
The Hyper 101 is easier one of the 2 :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!!

Pros: Absolutely amazing for the money. I just needed something for a cheap HTPC Build, and got this in a shell shocker deal. It's absolutely perfect!!!

I like that if the graphics aren't enough I could crossfire it with a cheap card instead of using Intel where you lose all integrated graphics as soon as you plug in a video card. I've always favored Intel, but I think AMD got it right with this whole APU thing.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Rosewill Case w/ 450 watt PSU
Biostar A55MH mobo
AMD A6-3650
4 GB Gskill Ram
500 gig HDD

all for $250 plus shipping - ~$60 for Dirt 3 (came with free download)

Can't beat that!!! Thanks Newegg!!!
