5 out of 5 eggsGood budget CPU

Pros: Affordable, sips power and runs quite well.

Cons: none for this price point. You want fast, buy faster.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as part of a budget PC I was building for a senior customer. After building mostly gaming machines with i5\i7 CPU's I didn't expect much from this; but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it took to Windows, with a single 4GB stick; It was very responsive.

No, she won't play BF4 at max settings, and won't re-encode video at blazing speeds but for a student computer or something to surf the internet and play some light games, this is a solid deal for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsNice GPU for price

Pros: Cheap gaming computer can play most of the new games pretty well. I can play DDO on high, Planetside 2 very low, Loadout very high, DOTA 2 very high, DC Universe on medium etc....

Cons: Can't play Planetside 2 as well as I would like.

5 out of 5 eggssecond one

Pros: First one was damaged in shipping. Newegg had a new one delivered before the old one was picked up. I only needed to call once! 5 stars for Newegg and AMD.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good.

Pros: Very cheap, good temporary iGPU, very good CPU cores, low temps, good over clock ability.

Cons: FM1 is a dead motherboard socket.

Other Thoughts: Originally bought this and use it in a budget HTPC build. Later upgraded that rig. paired it with a 7750 in a build for a sibling and somehow ended up with an overclockable processor. I managed to get this all the way up 4.0 GHz while still at 34°C. Turned out to be a great little gaming processor.

1 out of 5 eggsFooled me!

Pros: none, does not fit...well im only out 50 bucks

Cons: won't work

Other Thoughts: So I bought a package from Newegg, that's right a "package" but the motherboard they sold me was fm2 socket and the cpu was fm1 socket. I waited a little long to build the system and gee whiz doesn't fit.. a package?

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: NONE. Item was DOA, and I RMAd 3 motherboards, costing me $60 shipping before realizing it was the CPU.

CPU would boot on occasion, then glitch out. other times it would not even boot.

Cons: This is a DEAD SOCKET FORMAT FOR A REASON. DO NOT BUY. DOA. But it worked off and on, so I kept chasing other problems.

5 out of 5 eggsBudget Entertainment PC for Parents

Pros: It can run youtube videos and you can browse the internet. Can handle FIFA 14 if you get the settings right (had to run on lowest FPS, windowed, lowest graphics detail).

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Price still the same after almost a year so no buyers regret. Paired with MSI A75A-G35 FM1 AMD A75 that has bad reviews but it works so I'm not going to touch the BIOS.

Threw in Crucial Ballistix 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 which is way more than what they need. Runs on XP. Does what it needs to do and it cost about $150 for the entire project. It's my first ever build.

I'll probably build an AMD APU based system for myself as my 8 year old laptop struggles to play youtube videos.

1 out of 5 eggsFails memtest

Pros: Would make a great paperweight.

Cons: Bad out of the box.

It failed with Gigabyte MOBO and g.skill or pny 4GB ram. It froze loading the O/S so I booted memtest86 and it could not get through test #7 even at 800 MHz (slowest) memory clock.

Swapped ram and MOBO and problem never went away.

Pros: Has on board graphics can run skyrim on medium settings 20-35 fps

Cons: Get a 6670 when gaming with this CPU
