Runs cooler too - reason I got this, laptop was hotter than he** before the update. Anyhow, very quick and responsive, love the TurboBoost, love the reduced power consumption, and love the cooler temperatures. Cons: Price? It runs a few degrees C higher, 37C idle to 51C full load. But it has turbo boost (3.2GHz), a huge + for me! Plus it has new instruction sets, that the i3 380M didn't have, and the video frequency is a bit higher. Supports virtualization and dont give off near as much heat as those i7's. It's too bad they dont get those quad cores down to 32nm!! Cons: 2nd gen i5's are out already! :( None that I can really think of at this time other than this. Other Thoughts: Put this in my Envy 14, which replaced a 430m i5, so it has a better turbo boost and supports new instructions and virtualization. 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.
