The Pentium M 780 is the most powerful processor in Intel’s Pentium M line. Running at 2.26GHz with 2MB of L2 cache it is an essential part of Intel Centrino Processor Technology. Drop this processor into a Socket M notebook with a 915 Express chipset and a PRO/Wireless network connection and you have the power to connect at high speeds.
Since you don't always run your system at max load, the Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology lets the operating system throttle down the processor's speed. When the processor is slowed down, it uses less power. Less power means lower electricity bills. Also, if it’s running with less power it is running cooler which will extend battery life.

Pros: Nice proccessor, high l2 cache. Fast
Cons: Not really a con, but when I recived it, the pins were all bent to one side, the proccessor was ruined, but they replaced it for free. Its just a little inconvieniont to wait for the replacement.
Other Thoughts: Nice CPU, a little bit on the expencive side, but it is worth it.
