Great for VPS Node
Pros: By far the best performance per $ out of all of the options currently on the market if you're looking to build a cluster/cloud server or VPS node. Better than my previous 8 and 12 core setups and same socket =)
Cons: um, not free?
Other Thoughts: Like the other reviewer said, if you are building out VPS then this will not be your bottleneck. I'm running a 16 drive ML raid controller fully loaded raid 10 with another 4 SSD's in raid 10 on another 4LP controller and the disk IO is still the bottleneck on the system. hosts about 110-120 VPS with 32 cores.

Excellent CPU - Price performance
Pros: 16 cores. Great for virtual servers. Great price/performance compared with competitive Intel CPU
Other Thoughts: For my virtual needs AMD 16 Core CPUs is the right CPU. CPU performance has too many variables to say what CPU is better than other CPUs unless you have a specific need. In my case I have a virtual server with 2-AMD 6276 (32-cores). The server is supporting about 30 virtual servers. Performance is great and I have CPU resources to spare. If you use this review for your virtual environment you need to consider memory and disk I/O as very important factors as the CPU itself. CPU is only one dimension in the virtual environment. I/O speed (disk) is even more important to get the right configuration.
