5 out of 5 eggsGreat processor for the price.

Pros: This is a great processor for the price. I have always been an AMD fan. My laptop has an i7 quad core gen 3 so I am familiar with both brands. You can't find a better processor for the price. Intel is like apple. It works great but you pay a major price for it. Anyways I'm by no means a power gamer but I do play assassins creed and mass effect and this processor alone handled those games fine. Can be set up for xfire with a graphics card which I plan to do.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of.

4 out of 5 eggsVery powerful for the price

Pros: Can be overclocked for extreme use. But be warned it outputs quite allot of heat.
Then on board graphics is powerful for being integrated. Very Impressed!

Cons: Runs really hot. If your only going to web browse and do emails. Then the stock cooler is fine. But if you play any games at all you must buy an aftermarket cooler. It just runs so hot that you can only play on the stock cooler before it shuts down to save its self.

Other Thoughts: Really just buy an aftermarket cooler. Unless for some reason you like a jet engine idling on your desk.

4 out of 5 eggsgood value

Pros: Advanced budget CPU/GPU; overclocked to 4.7GHz w/o voltage tweaks

Cons: Even overclocked to 4.7GHz, this APU benchmarks considerably lower than my AMD 965 CPU at 4.2GHz

Other Thoughts: my first APU for the desktop, already had mobile A10 in a laptop; To Christopher S., MSI specifically list the A10 as supported on their motherboard FM2-A75MA-E35. However, make certain your BIOS is up-to-date in case the A10 support came later than when the board was shipped to vendors.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bargain Out There

Pros: Gives you a reasonably strong CPU and GPU for a great price.

Cons: While it gives a fair amount of power in both CPU and GPU, it doesn't exceed in speed in either category.

Other Thoughts: Perfect if you are on a budget or are wanting to build a small yet powerful rig.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it!

Pros: • Great price
• Solid little chip
• Not bad at multitasking
• Simple to overclock

Cons: Nothing related directly to the chip

Other Thoughts: I used an NZXT X31 Kraken liquid cooler with my new build and I set it up. Within a couple weeks I spotted higher-than-expected temps. After a couple weeks I probed around and figured out the Thermal compound that came with the NZXT liquid cooler had already solidified and began to overheat the APU. (Just found that tonight)
I Dropped some Tri-Linear Ceramic thermal compound onto the NZXT cooler and re-paired them, and now the temps are MUCH more stable and a decent amount cooler. Your average temp monitoring software isn't accurate for temp readouts, CAM, NZXT's software, is fairly accurate considering your options, but It's recommended you use AMD OverDrive as a means to watch temps. I am idling at 70c Thermal Margin according to Overdrive, which My understanding is good. CAM reads back core temps of around 45c at idle with the NZXT Pump/fan at 30% after the new thermal compound. 74 is the highest temp it can go according to AMD. I ran it at 80 a couple times for about an hour at a time but its still running alright at this point. I Began streaming with it and it didn't really appreciate the task at stock clock settings. It handled it alright, but I'm sure a faster processor would have done better.

Its paired with the XFX Double-D R9 270X also sold here at newegg and what a combo they make! i'm not even using dual graphics yet.

As said before, Budget Gamers start here. I've been an AMD user for 10 years, this is my first high-power APU. I never had an issue with them before, and saw no reason to change. Glad I didn't!

4 out of 5 eggsNice cpu

Pros: I upgraded my rig from an A6 to this and what a difference it made!
I play a lot of World of tanks and my frame rate went from 30 fps to 70.
I do have a GTX 650 card in my rig. turned up graphics settings to high from minimum and enabled dual graphics and still running 50 fps.

Cons: stock fan is a bit noisy, going to be my next upgrade.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a tight budget and play a lot of games then this is the way to go. Do not rely on integrated graphics alone and expect decent frame rates. pair it with a decent graphics card and enable you dual graphics in your bios.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat APU

Pros: No problems, no complaints. This chip works great in the system I built for my son's birthday.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Purchased this chip as part of a package deal. No problems, no complaints, nothing but good things to say about the system I built in general. I am upgrading my own system because now I am the only one in the house without a quad core. Still using my dual core Athlon x2, will be upgrading to A10 7850K
