5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: Great Speeds, Smooth, Easy installation

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a budget home business build. I was kinda worried about it not being powerful enough for multiple programs. It has by-far, exceeded my expectations.

Pros: The numbers say it all. All-around efficient little processor for HTPC.

Cons: Are you kidding?

Other Thoughts: The stock clocks tested more than good enough for my HTPC build, so I concentrated on lowest energy use and heat. Stability testing was done with IntelBurnTest, 3DMark11 and Furmark. Post/boot tests showed that NB/GFX voltage could not go quite as low as they could in Windows, but the difference was minimal. The voltages below are fully stable and what I am running at now:

CPU = 1.125 volts (BIOS) stable for 1 hour IBT (30+ passes)
NB/GFX = 0.975 volts (BIOS) stable 3DMark11 (multiple passes) and 3 hours Furmark

Energy use tested at wall with Kill-a-Watt (monitor not included):

Sleep = 2 watts; Windows desktop @ idle = 17 watts; Netflix HD movie streaming = 25-30 watts; IBT = 49 watts; Furmark = 58 watts

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Cheap, effecient, decent graphics at low settings. plays rift on med. unless your in cq then forgetta bout it. be careful when playing with large groups cause this processor will go pllllllp (fart noise spelled out ;) )

Cons: bottlenecks the c@#$ out of my ddr5 r7. only 1mb on the cache.. tisk tisk. dual core just doesnt seem to cut it for gaming nowdays. replacing it for an a10 7850

Other Thoughts: this will be great if you just want a snappy home computer for light gaming and basic stuff.. wouldnt use anything with a dual core for gaming again as everything needs more processing power, not to mention some cpus have 16 times the cache size of this one for 120 bucks more.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Great for the price, great for those builds that you're selling to older people that don't need a powerhouse CPU.

Cons: It's no where near as fast as the AM3+ line, but again, at the price these sell at, I'm OK with that.

Other Thoughts: Even if you don't buy this particular model, get one with the on-board GPU.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Great Bargain
-Runs Cool
-Perfect HTPC CPU
-Impressive on-chip video
-Low Power Consumption

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: I used this in my most recent HTPC / Media Server build and a year later I have had no issues. It plays all my video and audio media without any hiccups, all while using relatively little power, which means less heat. I'm using a 6 year old Scythe Mini Ninja without a fan to cool it. I don't play games but I've never seen temps get above 40°. My system specs are below. I couldn't be happier.

ASRock FM2A75 Pro 4-M
Scythe Mini Ninja
Samsung Green 2x 4GB DDR 1600
Sandisk 64GB SSD
Western Digital WD20EFRX 2TB HDD
Integrated Radeon HD 7540D Graphics
Silverstone GD05B with Corsair CX500M
Win 7 Home Premium 64bit

5 out of 5 eggsReally Good

Pros: I bought this for the purpose of building my wife a entry level gaming computer. So far it has done just that. it plays on pretty good settings games like Star Wars Old Republic MMO. World of Warcraft. Left for dead, and portal one and two. And I didn't have to buy a video card.

Cons: the only real con I have with this chip is that she can't play Battlefield three or four on any setting higher than medium. But no biggie.

Other Thoughts: really I think this is a great CPU because I can make this even better by just buying a video card that matches this CPU and get even better performance.

5 out of 5 eggsthank you sir may I have another

Pros: - low power
- perfect APU for HTPC setup
- more than enough umph for video, internet, DVD, or whatever you need for a HTPC

Cons: - stock fan is meh. I always upgrade to a better one to keep the CPU cooler as a cool CPU lasts longer.

Other Thoughts: So pleased with this APU that I built for son's HTPC I ordered another for my own HTPC build

5 out of 5 eggsCool chip

Pros: Space saver. Affordable. Plays games alright with appropriate settings.

Runs great out of the box on Ubuntu without any trouble. (See cons)

Cons: Can be made to run on most other linuxen with much effort, but I found it to be too much hassle.

Definitely read the specs for which distributions are supported on the manufacturer site before attempting to run on a linux box.

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good!

Pros: Exactly as advertised.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Paired with a MSI A88XM-E35. Bought this for a budget HTPC build. Working like a champ so far. Even capable of playing games like BF4 and Thief on low settings.
