5 out of 5 eggsA decent low-TDP chip

Pros: Speedy for a low-TDP chip. Built-in GPU is handy. Stock cooler is reasonably quiet and fairly low-profile. Good pricing.

Cons: GPU is a bit weak, but OK for most older games. Arrived with a bent pin. I mean bent flat against the chip. Fortunately, I've fixed many a bent pin before and was able to straighten this one. Chip is still cruising a long after a 72-hour load test.

Other Thoughts: This chip would be great for a HTPC or general workstation PC. Would even been good for a games PC if you don't expect to play the latest games at max settings. I'm using it as a Ubuntu-based file server with a 12TB external disk array (software based) and the performance is good.

5 out of 5 eggs exactly what I needed

Pros: Quick
FM2 so I can upgrade later

Cons: Did not like windows Xp 64 too much or Ubuntu. Got sketchy artifact filled graphics. Flawless on win 7 though

Other Thoughts: This was the perfect placeholder chip for the fm2 build I wanted to do. Now i can easily upgrade later. The supplied cooler is fine just use quality thermal paste rather than the provided pad for a noticeable difference in cooling. I got mine with a 15 promo card a couple months ago. Chugging along perfectly. My minecraft addicted son couldn't be happier. Plays with all settings cranked to the max, tons of mods etc....

5 out of 5 eggsGood Office/MultiMedia Chip

Pros: Price,
Cool running chip,
Descent performance for office, multimedia consumption, etc
If you stay with FM2 can always upgrade to something much bigger once your budget allows.

Cons: The fan could be nicer. (does the job the Chip runs cool)

Not Free,

For a bit more money there are faster options (quad core Trinity/Richland from AMD camp, and of course Intels i3/i5/i7's Sandy/Ivy/and Haswell lines.)

Other Thoughts: I used this chip to build a PC for a friends chiropractor office. I've built my friend a few pcs for his work some i3's for his main office pc. There old PC ( Old P4 1.8 Single Core) that was hooked up to a TV to use power point and some media streaming was on it last leg.
Decided to use this chip base on a few things, cost, overall cabalilties of the chip (DX11.1 hardware acceraction, and onboard UVD (unversial Video decodar engine). Since he wanted to go from just power point to being able to play DVDS, netflix , even some light gaming for little Kids who come in (angry birds/minecraft ..etc).
Overall was very pleased for the bang for you buck this chip provides.
Chips WEI (Windows Experience Index) score for the chip with 8 gigs DDR3-1600 CAS 9 ram and at 1080p video resolution are as follows.

Processor: 6.2
Memory: 7.2
Graphics: 6.5
Gaming Graphics: 6.5

For anyone who needs a low cost PC that doesnt need to do content creation (video transcoding/decoding/winzip,etc) this chip is not bad at all. Yes there are way more powerful options but for under 160 dollars for a motherboard, 8 gigs of ram, and this APU it makes for a truly inexpensive machine.

It does handle BLU-Ray playback without hickup, and of course all the major streaming services Netflix/Hulu all run fine.

5 out of 5 eggs"Zippy" little guy

Pros: Zippy little processor
Good if you want speed vs value
Excellent price at the time
I'm happy

Cons: Graphics aren't the greatest, but I mean it is integrated graphics so that is to be expected.
Nothing else

5 out of 5 eggsThoroughly impressed!

Pros: Easy install, decent speed, and (with a supported board) includes automatic turbo function when under full load. No overclocking needs to be enabled for this feature to kick in.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a budget build I was doing for a client. Client doesn't game, so it sounded too good to be true. Boy was I surprised; even considering this is a dual core, it was very quick upon installation of Win 7 x64, stays at a low temp even under full loads, and with a supported board even automatically activates turbo function. This is the first APU I've used, and it certainly won't be the last; VERY impressed with it.

5 out of 5 eggsgood stuff

Pros: This is a great cpu for mom and dad. Made a second purchase since the first one has been working well for their needs (web browsing, email, word processing, videos).

CPUID HWMonitor
CPUTIN shows:
29-30C idle
44-46C under load running prime95.
Stock HSF @ 2224-2265rpm.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I would recommend installing AMD Cool'n'Quiet. Dropped idle from 3.6ghz @ 1.45 volts to 1.4ghz @ ~1.0 volts.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh..

Pros: This was a great priced CPU, but I felt like for a dual core running at 3.4-6 ghz it'd be a little quicker. The graphics are decent, and I'm able to play GTA IV on medium settings, with only a few glitches, but nonetheless, if you're just a mild computer user, and not doing any high-end stuff as video editing or gaming, this CPU is just perfect for you!

Cons: The cons I had with this CPU was lag. While building the new computer this CPU was in, it took longer than expected to install and load certain drivers, especially considering I installed a very decent SSD to go along with it. It just seems a bit slow compared to my $500 ASUS laptop, which would run circles around this PC.
SPECS:
CPU: AMD A4-Trinity @ 3.4ghz
RAM: (8GB) DDR3-1866
HDD: OCZ AGILITY through SATA 6.0Gb
