5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING!

Pros: What a great product and incredible value, this is beyond sweet spot for a CPU and GPU!

Cons: Its impossible to give this processor a con

Other Thoughts: Did a budget build for a customer, building a new CPU with Win 7 for about $350, thought I gave this a try, and customer couldn't be happier, gets a WEI score for CPU and GPU of 6.2, in the past to get a combo for that much would be at least $100-$150 range, and this little puppy does both for $50? WOW! And it runs cool and super quiet! Good stuff very happy!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing value

Pros: Got this along with a Biostar A85 microATX motherboard to upgrade an old P4 system. The motherboard came with a free 8GB 1600MHz RAM kit, which totally sold me on the whole thing instead of trying to price out older Phenom components. Plus an SSD I had lying around, I got to upgrade my friend's PC for less than $200 and it chews through any websites, youtube, or office work I can throw at it. Didn't really stress test but it was running at around 30C doing windows updates. WEI shows 6.1 for the CPU, and 6.6 for graphics. Great chip, I'll definitely be building more of these systems for students as well. Who would turn down a $50 AMD that includes a nice Radeon right on the chip?!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm a cheapskate so I didn't go for more cores. Not disappointed with the entry-level offering from AMD and they have my business for when I build my wife's gaming/HTPC later this year.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU for cheap!

Pros: - Powerful! Haven't had an AMD processor in what seems like forever... but can't beat the A4-5300's processing power vs. price!

Cons: - None so far

Other Thoughts: Used this in an extremely tight-budget build and don't regret it at all:

AMD A4-5300 Trinity 3.4GHz
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 AMD A75 motherboard
CORSAIR XMS 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
Western Digital WD Blue WD2500AAKX 250GB harddrive
LOGISYS Computer CS206BK case

This might be the new basis for tight-budget / parent / grand parent computer builds.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: This is THEEEE chip to get for a cheap HTPC / Light gaming rig.
Plenty of power and zip especially paired with at least 8GB of DDR3 1600 RAM. I won't need a graphics card or more RAM for a while.
Netflix , YouTube , Hulu , mild / moderate gaming...you name it.
This baby has got you covered. If you do a lot of multi-tasking , go fo the quad-core. You can't really go wrong with FM2.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: You can build a great gaming rig or HTPC rig for cheap these days with the FM2 socket thanks to AMD.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing when you consider the price

Pros: For this price it is a little mind boggling that you can get a very solid CPU/GPU combo. Maybe its because I can remember when 486 chips were expensive, but I was pretty impressed how this stacked up with some of the more recent aging workstations we put it up against. It's quicker than any core2duo workstation that we had, and is a huge upgrade over something like a late model P4. Would make a great HTPC too with the integrated GPU.

Cons: Doesn't go to the store to buy me pancake ingredients.

5 out of 5 eggsso far its awsome

Pros: cheap. does all that it needs to do with ease. Using for a general purpose pc.
very happy with its cost vs abilities.

Cons: none so far. not enough AMD users .

Other Thoughts: gave a 6.1 on cpu part of win rating. 6.6/6.6 for graphics. have apu at 800mhz.
heat sink looks small, but have to remember it's 65 watts.

2 out of 5 eggsOnly the specs are impressive...

Pros: It has a built in APU which competes with the Intel HD series, easily auto-tuned, doesn't run above 50c no matter how long you run prime on stock air.

Cons: The WEI (which I know is somewhat inaccurate) has a lower rating than an older Athlon 64x2 6400+ @ 3.2GHz (6.3 for the A-series & 6.5 on the Athlon 64x2). It runs fast on a fresh install but I can get an old Pentium 4 to run nice on a fresh install... It doesn't seem any faster than the Athlon 64x2 series which is sad since that's old-school tech, and that's in real life usage.

Other Thoughts: I bought this in a DIY kit to build for a customer. Luckily it was for his wife and not him. For the price, I can't really complain too much, but I'd hate to see what the slower A-series chips do... or rather don't do. I have to say the WEI on the HD 7480D were around 6.3 where the Intel HD 3000 gets about 6.7 or so. Not bad on the graphics side, but that processor is lacking something when it comes to just everyday use, you'd think 3.4 GHz - 3.7 GHz (which is what my sensors are getting) should get up and go but it just doesn't.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget CPU!

Pros: Integrated graphics works great for gaming. No need to spend extra on a separate GPU, easy to OC, stable and fast!

Cons: Didn't come with free bacon.

Other Thoughts: Another great product from AMD. For the price, you really can't beat it. The integrated graphics works great for mild gaming. It was easy to overclock and it's pretty quick in default speeds. The stock heatsink it provides is subpar and pretty standard, so I would invest in a better heatsink.

4 out of 5 eggsWonderful CPU for what it is...

Pros: Built my aunt a PC with this cpu. I have used the Athlon's and Phenom's for a while, but decided to try this APU out. I paired it with an inexpensive asrock board and 4GB 1333 ddr3, made a 7.1 wie score. The more I played with it, Overclocked it, etc, the more I like it. If you up the speed of the ram you put in, scores go up. Up the RAM to 8GB of 1866 and you get a 7.7 wie score. So for the money, for mild gaming, photo shop, etc, works great.

Cons: No real cons, could have a nicer heat sink. And to be stable at O.C.

5 out of 5 eggsFast little guy!!! WOW

Pros: This APU runs World of Tanks at 40 fps with standard graphics enabled. It runs Skyrim at 35 fps at medium settings. Older games I see 60+ fps. For a $200 system build I'm not going to complain this this is almost as strong as a Playstation 3 for a fraction of the cost.

Cons: Cons, what cons? I got more than what I paid for IMHO.
