5 out of 5 eggsAMD-FX-4350

Pros: Easy Install. Coola worked, have not stress tested. Was not DOA.

This was $84.99. Very Happy.

Cons: None- Will update after further use.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if FX series cpu's came with a tube of Thermal Paste** The cooler has pre applied TP on the bottom. 125w for this cpu

5 out of 5 eggsJump In !

Pros: Very stable and end-user friendly , overclocks like a champ, ton of bang for the buck and is the very best budget-friendly CPU I experienced. No throttling at all and is surprisingly cool. Just grab one and you won't regret it !

Cons: Power draw is jaw-droping when OC'ing, so get a 500-600W Certified Gold/Platinum PSU (LIke a Corsair AX or CX one) so you don't go boom-shakalaka on the thing and first thing you do is ditch that stock cooler in the bin , get a small all-in-one coller like a Corsair H60 or a CM Seidon 120M the make the noise go down.

Other Thoughts: I paired this to a CM Seidon 120M paid 60$ and a 990FXA-UD7 Gigabyte MB and now I built 5 of my friends rigs with this CPU , none of them had problems with this after months of abuse. If you want a hassle-free, fun and overall best price/performance on a budget , go ahead , jump in !

3 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Unlocked, Fast

Cons: Wasn't able to go past 4.6Ghz auto overclocking.

Other Thoughts: Use the stock heat sink and fan that comes with this CPU don't try to put on an after marker brand there is a reason it comes packaged with what you need.

5 out of 5 eggsNever been disappointed

Pros: It's a terrific quad core processor at a high clock speed. It's chewed through everything I have thrown at it so far. It replaced a Phenom II 965, so it had big shoes to fill. I'm glad I skipped Bulldozer and held out for Piledriver, though from what I understand Vishera is the end of the line for AMD's love affair with CPUs. Still, I hope to get another 4-5 years out of this chip that I got out of my PhenomII.

Cons: The stock fan. It's really bad. I did two builds with this chip. One was in my own rig with Arctic Silver 5 and an EVO 212 Hyper - even playing FFXIV at max settings the chip never goes above 48c. My friend's build was IDLING at 40ish even with the Arctic silver paste. If you want to really get some life and performance out of this chip, get an aftermarket cooler.

Other Thoughts: I really like AMD chips. Intel chips are great as well, but a little pricey for my tastes. I like gaming builds that cost 600ish bucks. With an AMD chip, that's more than possible. With this chip, a, R9 270x, 8 GB of Corsair vengeance and a Gigabyte 990fx board I've been able to comfortable play all the games that I like, including XIV and Skyrim at max. If you want to play games and multitask but are on a college budget, AMD is the way to go. Quality product, excellent price.

5 out of 5 eggsStable Overclocker

Pros: Runs surprisingly cool at high speeds. Pushed it as far as I felt comfortable with and hit 5.4 GHz before it decided to freak out a bit. If I tweaked with the voltages and RAM timing a bit, I think it could get to a stable 5.5 GHz, but I backed it down to 4.8 GHz for regular use.

Have it paired up with a Corsair 105 closed-loop cooling setup and never broke 48C during stress testing at the higher OC speeds.

Cons: None that I've come across as of yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Photoshop CS6

Pros: Fast, hell of a lot cheaper than the Intel equivalent

Cons: Wish they still made the Phenom II series.

Other Thoughts: Cruising along as the heart of a system built for Photoshop. I built a Phenom II system in 2010 for Photoshop and it works great to this day. I went with the Vishera as the logical next step in performance. It works excellent.

5 out of 5 eggsOverclock MONSTER

Pros: It over clocks like a beast. I have it over clocked to 5 GHz and it's as stable as a rock.

Cons: Not hot enough to fry an egg.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat overclocker

Pros: Cheap price. Good overclock out of the box. Would buy again.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have this chip mated to an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Gen 3 board. Running Mushkin 1600 memory. It's cooled by an Asus H110. I must say that I'm very impressed with this chip. As an experiment, I clocked this cpu to 5.0. Left there for a week. No issues. The memory was running @ 1930. The idle temps were @ about 42c on load it went up to about 65. I must also say that the H110 is an impressive cooler. AMD makes a great chip.

5 out of 5 eggsBest AMD FX unlocked quad core processor

Pros: This processor is great for gaming. You can easily over clock it if you have the right type of cooling like liquid cooling. For the price compared to the eight core processors that's not as good in ghz as this one its perfect and chances are you wont need the other 2-4 cores unless your going to be running multiple games and multitasking on the internet and more at the same time.

Cons: Nothing bad about this processor runs smooth and fast with my windows and on my own built pc

Other Thoughts: Running amdfx-4350 processor, msi motherboard, 8gb 1866mhz gkill ram,1tb wd 64mb cache 6gb/p hard drive, radeon graphics card, 750 watt powersuply. Works great and fast for the price I paid and I don't need to overclock it

5 out of 5 eggsNo regrets!

Pros: 4.2Ghz clock speeds stock, quad core, large L3 cache. I had no regrets with this purchase, even with others saying it's a bad choice. If/when I upgrade this build, I'll build a second just to keep using it.

On top of that, it runs cool on a stock cooler with the stock thermal interface material

Cons: It doesn't make bacon. It runs too cool for that. :P
