3 out of 5 eggsok Cpu. :) but is it good for gameing???

Pros: sure this cpu says 3.4ghz and sure the price is grate and sure if u use a good nice gpu you will resive avrage frame rates around 30 fps
this cpu seems bad for gameing to what i have expirance
the games i nottice uses so much of the cpu like allmost 80%
of the cpu so the system dont have much breath room i would say this you can game on this cpu but youll get so lttile frame rate i was kinda looking for around 40 and up but this seems to play most games on only 30 or lower and it contenues to dip frames rate some times it drops to even 22fps in some games if you wanna game put some extra money and get the FX 8320 or FX 8350 8core cpu insted i tought haveing a 4core cpu woulda been able to alow me to game on it but this cpu is kinda bad :( if i could do it all over agin i woulda spend the extra money and get a 8core ;/ dont make same mistake i did :D use your money wisely and make use of every penny :) u have

Cons: will not get good frame rates in games at all sadly

Other Thoughts: i wish oh i wish i only wish when i was desideing to build my pc i didnt choose this cpu will give it 3/5 eggs stars cause the fact that it works and u can play some games but what keeps it back is that it doesnt seem to live up to its 4core standerds QQ

4 out of 5 eggsSomewhat Great CPU for the price

Pros: I mean its AMD so you can expect a bang for th buck in performance and in pricing. This CPU isnt like the 860K which consumes less energy by like 25W but this CPU can overclock much better than the 860K and is more stable than the 860K which is in a way the same thing as the 750K since the build and design on both CPU is basically identical but the only advantage you have is saving some $ on the 860K side of town..

Cons: Sometimes runs hotter than usual when gamign and video editing. Other than that you can just buy a CPU cooler that can handle this baby's temps and you will be good to go.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this CPU to anyone who isnt worried about Powerbills and wants a decent stable CPU when OCing. This does way better than the 860K I can assure that :D

4 out of 5 eggsGood but not for gaming

Pros: Its stays rather cool with stock fan & performs well to specifications

Cons: 3.4GHz(3.8 overclock) is at the low end required for next gen gaming.

Other Thoughts: I will be aiming for something 4GHz+ with at least 6 core

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Idles around 39c in my desktop overclocked to 4.2 Ghz right out of the box, using the STOCK cooler and some Artic Silver 5! Great little CPU for the price. I will never buy another overpriced intel product again as long as AMD keeps products like this in their arsenal! ! Great buy and great product. . . I'm super picky with my pc builds so coming from me, this says alot!

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: Remember to check your motherboards TDP and make sure it can handle a processor with 100W TDP!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for workstation or budget gaming rig

Pros: + Still going strong after 8 months (bought 2, both see heavy use)
+ Sufficient for playing most games. (Currently configured with a GTX 760, ASRock A85W board, and 8Gb RAM, and I haven't had any trouble running Witcher 2, Tomb Raider, or War Thunder.)
+ Factory unlocked, so overclocking is a possibility

Cons: - Stock cooler insufficient if under consistent load (not worth docking an egg, I have never seen a stock cooler that wasn't complete garbage)

Other Thoughts: This is NOT an APU (unlike many FM2 socket processors) and doesn't have graphics processing ability. Make sure you have a graphics card.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Awesome for the price!
Overclocked it to 4ghz and my ram to 1940mhz!
Using stock cooler; however I replaced the thermal compound with Arctic Silver 5 (using the dot method).
Temperature has never exceeded 54 Celsius while playing demanding games, and everything remains stable!

Cons: None so far

4 out of 5 eggsCost effective, albeit runs a little hot

Pros: This CPU is great considering the cost. It can handle anything a light user will throw at it, and can handle a great deal of what gamers and other heavy load users can throw at it.

Cons: One issue I did notice was that the CPU runs hot. This may be an issue with the stock cooler, as everything else in my case runs at a comfortable temperature. After running games for an hour or so, the CPU can get up to 80 degrees Celsius.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this CPU is great despite the drawbacks of its stock cooler.
