5 out of 5 eggsAwesome and powerful

Pros: This packs a punch, more than enough power for the normal user, i was skeptical about buying a cpu gpu combo but i was surprised that it is very solid.

Cons: the fan and heat sink that comes with is a bit under powered and not big enough, i was able to keep it cooled turning the fan settings up all the way but it was soo noisy i decided to just buy a turbine instead.

Other Thoughts: really good deal for the price

3 out of 5 eggsnot for extreme use

Pros: This is a ok processor if you dont plan to peg it to 100% and keep it there. If it stays at 100% it will overheat and shut the PC down. And i am using a all in 1 water cooler to.

Cons: Not good for use if your gonna peg it out all the time but good for a regular everyday desktop PC. I was encoding and live streaming with OBS and this kept overheating ans slowing down then rebooting.

Other Thoughts: If a desktop everyday pc is what you want its good for that. DO NOT buy this for anything thats cpu intense or you wont be able to use this at all.

3 out of 5 eggsAMD A10 8600K Richland - Overheating

Pros: Good price. Packaging was intact.

Cons: Processor is running at 49-81C in Windows. 81C at peak during startup (which is minimal in load.) Tried the original thermal paste, that came installed on the heatsink, then tried the following methods for applying the Arctic Silver: I'm not here to debate which is best.. pea, line, x, +, and now back to the AMD recommended. If this continues in the next two days, I'll have to see about an exchange...

5 out of 5 eggsAmazingly Capable APU

Pros: This processor is simply incredible. The clock speed says it all, it runs up there with the fastest on the market! The most impressive part of it for me, though, has to be the integrated HD 8670D graphics. This unit can easily run modern games at 1920x1080. When on 1366x768, I can max out nearly every game I own, which is simply incredible given my lack of a graphics card. The value of this is incredible.

Cons: It does run a bit hot, but that was remedied easily with an aftermarket heatsink, it now stabilizes at around 50-55 degrees C.

Other Thoughts: Buy this APU, you will not be disappointed!

5 out of 5 eggsFast economical Processor

Pros: Fast processor that overclocks easily.

Cons: The processor was not $5.

Other Thoughts: Notes to people complaining about the stock cooling system. Before you complain about how the processor runs hot check your CPU fan profile. When I checked mine the processor had to hit 70 C before the fan hit 100% as a result it was running in the 50's and higher. Once I changed the profile to bring the fan up to higher speeds at lower temps the processor has been staying in the 40's with the stock cooler. Save your money on water cooling and install faster RAM and see how well this processor can perform!

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Fast. Really fast. Great graphics too. Stock heat sink and fan work well and are enough.

Cons: could always use a better gpu but very good anyway

Other Thoughts: I had bought this to get me by on a new system and planned to buy a video card later. I still may but this is more than enough to play just about any game with great settings. It won't break records or anything but I have zero complaints. If you need a cheap way to play good games get this. I have not needed to overclock this either. running 16gb ram with 2 for video and SSD.

5 out of 5 eggsBlazing fast, even without OC.

Pros: Fast, with great OC potential.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wasn't able to figure out the over-clocking on the motherboard in time to deliver to my customer. Con for the motherboard for not making it simple for my lack of OC experience.

5 out of 5 eggsUltra FAST Processor

Pros: This is a screaming fast processor. The specs state 4.4GHz Turbo, but I was able to get this processor to 4.7GHz with the MoBo I have it paired with. If I had room in my case for a liquid cooled or Nitro cooled system, I bet I could get this to go even faster.

Cons: Like other have stated, the heat-sink/Fan combo that comes with this processor is not sufficient enough for heavy computing or over clocking.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent, even for video games

Pros: Plays video games quite well, even without a dedicated video card so long as you assign the onboard APU with enough system memory (I did 2GB of the systems 8GB total).

Cons: None that I can determine so far (1 month of ownership).

Other Thoughts: Many video games have an "auto-detect" feature for your computer's specs and will adjust the graphics settings accordingly. I have found that most games drastically undershoot this APUs capability. I am having to ignore the auto-detect feature and setting it myself. This APU handles games like World of Tanks, Rome II: Total War, and Diablo 3 just fine even without a dedicated graphics card.
