4 out of 5 eggsI've owned this beast for a year. Still runs great.

Pros: This thing runs great even after a year. I have it paired with an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z mobo, and I have had zero issues. I have it OC'd to 4.65Ghz and even with an air cooled heatsink, it's never gone above 65C even under full load. I would recommend this CPU to anyone who wants really decent performance for a low price.

Cons: None so far. Runs great with a good motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsUnnecessarily Overpowered

Pros: This "thing" is a monster: eats alive anything you throw its way. More processing power behind it than I know what to do with, and the liquid cooler lets it truly shine!

Cons: It's a bit power-hungry, so make sure you've got a hefty PSU/MB combo to handle it. It gets really hot - hence the liquid cooler - even when it's idling, and the radiator that comes with the kit feels like it's got a difficult timing keeping up on occasion. Also, the processor's a tad unstable: not 100% sure why, but it sometimes shuts off when trying to run a game or something. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Couldn't run any games at first because the processor was drawing too much power and was overloading itself. Fixed this by clocking down from like 5.1Ghz to about 4.34Ghz. Issue still happens on rare occasions, but the internet isn't too helpful when trying to fix this. Some claim lowering (and in some cases, raising?) VCORE or other voltage parameters helps. Most mention turning off the C1/C6 states in BIOS to fix this issue, but I'm not 100% sure which combination of things fixes it the best. Other than that, this thing is a dream: I highly recommend it.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst CPU EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: None, just none... No really, there is nothing good to say about this unit at all.

Cons: Where can I start?
lets see, for one the water cooling kit that comes with this CPU is not ratted to handle a CPU with this high of a TDP and the manufacture of the water cooling kit says so on it's website in fairly big print that it only supports CPU's up to 175 watt TDP.
Then there is that fact that AMD has no info about this CPU ether in the CPU's box or on it's own website So bits of important info like what the CPU's voltage is or what the HT buss speed is, is unknown Thanks AMD, good job... NOT!!!!!
Now if that was not bad enough add in the fact that AMD dose not have effective telephone customer support and getting this thing to run correctly is a total shot in the dark.

Other Thoughts: I WILL NEVER BUY AN AMD PRODUCT AGAIN!!!

5 out of 5 eggs9 Months Later...Still Power Hungry

Pros: Insanely fast 8 Core Processor
Black Edition: Allows for Overclocking beyond "Factory Locked" speeds
Never Lags

Cons: Requires mid to high end liquid cooling to perform at it's highest potential (not truly a con, but you should just set aside money for a kit or EK Water Block it, bare minimum kit wise: Corsair H100i or better).

Other Thoughts: This processor is amazing in every way, crushes games, benchmarks, anything you toss it's way. 9 months later and I'm still happy with the FX 9370 as it has never underperformed or caused Thermal Shutdown in any instance over 9 months. My current CPU setup is : ASUS Sabertooth R2.0 AM3+ Mobo, Corsair RM1000 1000W PSU, & AMD FX 9370. This CPU hasn't seen over 62C (and that's while running the AMD OverDrive CPU Test).

5 out of 5 eggsAMD FX-9370

Pros: I've had this processor for about 6 months and I have had no issues. I do not overclock but I do run games on it with no problems. Others have said it runs hot but without being overclocked and my extra large case with 5 fans, it runs fine.

Cons: No issues.

5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master rules

Pros: Runs no more than 50c playing most demanding games so far

LED light built into the water block ensures that it is working properly

Comes with a short tube of good Cooler Master thermal paste.

Cons: No directions included

Other Thoughts: Came with 120MM radiator fans same old fan look

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I works and has not leaked at all. it comes with some user friendly software with lots of settings.

Cons: the hoses are not detachable without breaking the seals, no quick disconnect.so i could not run the hoses through the water cooling holes that were pre-cut into the case. the hoses could be a tad bit longer.

Other Thoughts: It is just slightly too big to put inside my case without modifying the Fan holder on the side panel. I have one of the early Antec 900 black cases. I have it mounted on the inside 120 fan grid on the upper rear of the case. i just modded the side panel so i couls close the case.

5 out of 5 eggsMust have 220watt socket board

Pros: fast, runs 4.4, running special fan/heatsink (nowater) does not run hot if not OC'ed. Temp37 Win scale 7.8. 9 series chip only two made and few boards that support. Got this one (FX9370) price and less complaints about over heating then its big brother FX95??.

Cons: Came with water cool. Put it on and I could do better with a double level large fan, 4 copper tube air cooler.

Other Thoughts: Came with the water cooler free. After trying it I could see why it was free. Too big and bad design did not cool better then good quality air fan. Lots of extra work trying that water cooler out and then changing back. Have a really good case with 4 fans two in word in the front and two outward top and back, 2 fans on video card, 1 fan on 950watt power supply. Good quality chip fan run the machine on cool and quiet mode and it stays in low range blow/noise all the time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU, quite fast, hot

Pros: I've spent awhile with the CPU now, so far the experience has been great. Have if paired with the Asus Formula-Z board, overall works great, have had no issues with it whatsoever. On my rig, overclocked to 4.75ghz scored a 8.07pts on Cinebench. Very respectable. As for overclockability, I've been struggling to push mine up to 5.0ghz without really stepping up the voltage, others can get it up there quite easy, a lot of it depends on luck and the chip you get. Anyways though even at stock runs fast and takes anything I can throw at it. As for price comparisons to a 4770k, it runs slower, costs a bit less. I got it on a deal for $250 so that is what really sold it to me. Run intel and AMD in the past, I really buy what is in my price point and offers good value, with the liquid cooler included that is what sold it to me. The temps idle around 40c and go up to about 50c under load at stock, but this depends on how you configure the fan speeds in the software included with the cooler. Overall cooler is nice and quiet, works well, solid quality, very pleased with it.

Cons: Runs hot, the 220w tdp inst a joke. Id recommend getting something smaller if you live in a small room, and make sure you case has adequate airflow yadda yadda yadda. Hesitant to drop an egg just for running a bit warm, since you can configure it to down clock aggressively to save power.

Other Thoughts: Really deserved a 4.5 out of 5. But gave 5 eggs anyways since my experience has definitely been great.

4 out of 5 eggsFast but terrible Stock Cooler

Pros: Incredibly fast CPU for the price. Handles any game I throw at it, plus running Teamspeak, Pandora, Firefox, FRAPS, etc etc. Played Metro Last Light full settings with this baby + 7870 XFX 2GB.

I also have 16GB of memory.

Cons: Power requirements. I didn't even know that my old motherboard, which was an Asus Sabertooth 990fx -- not old at all!! -- would not be able to handle the 225w power requirement. I had to upgrade my motherboard. This information is on Newegg, but I feel that it's not in big enough warning letters with flashing neon lights and blinking arrows. Seriously. I have never had to upgrade a motherboard because my CPU required more power.

The stock cooler is absolute bunk. Don't buy the bulk package. I had to buy a Corsair H90, which is solid. Idles around 25 Celsius.

Other Thoughts: Would have bought the CPU alone if I knew the cooler would be so bad.
