5 out of 5 eggsBack up

Pros: Works great. I used it to check my system as my 8-core went down and used it to trouble shoot why my computer was not turning on. Cheap processor that will still run Adobe Packages PHotoshop, Dreamweaver, and others. Used it for gaming and ran smooth on World of Tanks.

Cons: None that I see yet.

4 out of 5 eggsAMD 4350

Pros: Cheap! It runs really well. I run Battlefield 4 on Ultra with this chip and a GTX 750ti single fan/no extra power supply. It runs about 40 degrees C in game without a hiccup. It will not do these settings in multi-player though. Medium runs good at about 50 ffps.

Cons: Not a video editing chip. Movie Maker and other video editing software will max this chip out. Not a real con because it will finish the editing without over heating or any other problems. Just a little slow.

Other Thoughts: Perfect for a lower middle shelf gaming rig.

5 out of 5 eggsCall him Punchy the Little Processor

Pros: This is dynamite in a little package. I just replaced my Phenom II 965BE with this one earlier today and even with the 965 being the powerhouse that it is, the performance from the 4350 is extremely noticeable. I have this on an MSI 970A G46 with OC Genie II and during the instant overclock from the board, it brought it to 4.9 stable, checked with prime95. This little guy has shown some massive potential and maybe I just got lucky in the silicon lottery, but I could probably manually clock it to over 5 on water. For now though, I would rather enjoy it for the time being.

Cons: Absolutely none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang For Buck Processor

Pros: -Great price/performance ratio
-Great overclocking capabilities
-Tough
-Loves punishment

Cons: -Bad stock cooler (Just buy a good one for $50)

Other Thoughts: I've been running this processor at 4.9Ghz and 1.52v on a Zalman CNPS9900 for over a year now. I don't think you can break these things as long as you have basic knowledge of overclocking, and know how to keep your system cool. If you are an AMD person and looking for the perfect budget CPU that still actually kicks up dust, look no further.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk dont buy

Pros: none

Cons: I think that Newegg is now become the dumping ground for so called Refurbished or recertified garbage, years ago it was a place to get a good truly referb part that was truly rebuilt or remanufactured to Oe specs, now I think its just a bunch of third party junk. this chip lased about 2.5 months of dally use, NO OVERCLOCKING, and was supported by only the best components, include a massive cooling system that kept the chip very cool constant temp. And of cores newegg washed there hands after 30 days do now its deal with the manufacture time. Which has become the lesser of 2 evils with newegg being such a hassle with returns and shipping and long wait times (wish they had the zonams service). If I had got it from zonams I would have a replacement in 3 days.

Other Thoughts: don't buy any refurbished, recertified or remanufactured products from Newegg!!

5 out of 5 eggsRighteous processor

Pros: Functions

Doesn't overheat/run hot, and I'm using a stock fan from an A10 processor on it w/o new thermal paste (for now)

Cons: Didn't come with fan or heatsink (not sure if CPUs usually do, this is my first complete build|

Other Thoughts: Mine had no thermal paste residue, but some others said they had some on theirs. Residue is great, but I'll survive for a few days while my new heatsink/fan and paste arrive.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looked barely used if it wasn't for some stuff on the top you wouldn't even be able to tell it wasn't new.

Cons: Refurbished is a gamble but so far newegg has yet to send me a lemon. No cons to report.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had it long so hopefully it'll keep chugging along.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Chip, Excellent Deal

Pros: Fast, easy to set up, runs pretty cool, doesn't seem to ever get overloaded, and cheap....
I upgraded my computer from a Athlon II 630 Quad to this chip (and mother board to an ASUS A597) huge difference. I bargain shop for my computers, try to do about $200 worth of upgrades every 3-4 years and still be able to run games, video converting, etc... And this chip impresses, while under full load for about an hour or so, it runs nice and cool (with medium level $25 cooler) 43 degrees.
Easy to install just put it in, put on the heatsink and that was that.
Refurbished was a small gamble, but besides not getting the pretty box and the basic heatsink, I don't think the performance has been lacking at all.

Cons: none really.

Other Thoughts: If you want a low price, nice quality CPU, this is a good idea.
