5 out of 5 eggsRighteous processor

Pros: Functions

Doesn't overheat/run hot, and I'm using a stock fan from an A10 processor on it w/o new thermal paste (for now)

Cons: Didn't come with fan or heatsink (not sure if CPUs usually do, this is my first complete build|

Other Thoughts: Mine had no thermal paste residue, but some others said they had some on theirs. Residue is great, but I'll survive for a few days while my new heatsink/fan and paste arrive.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looked barely used if it wasn't for some stuff on the top you wouldn't even be able to tell it wasn't new.

Cons: Refurbished is a gamble but so far newegg has yet to send me a lemon. No cons to report.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had it long so hopefully it'll keep chugging along.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Chip, Excellent Deal

Pros: Fast, easy to set up, runs pretty cool, doesn't seem to ever get overloaded, and cheap....
I upgraded my computer from a Athlon II 630 Quad to this chip (and mother board to an ASUS A597) huge difference. I bargain shop for my computers, try to do about $200 worth of upgrades every 3-4 years and still be able to run games, video converting, etc... And this chip impresses, while under full load for about an hour or so, it runs nice and cool (with medium level $25 cooler) 43 degrees.
Easy to install just put it in, put on the heatsink and that was that.
Refurbished was a small gamble, but besides not getting the pretty box and the basic heatsink, I don't think the performance has been lacking at all.

Cons: none really.

Other Thoughts: If you want a low price, nice quality CPU, this is a good idea.

5 out of 5 eggsDecided to spend more on the graphics card

Pros: Bargain
Cheap
Affordable
Fast & Overclockable (the M5A99X Evo got it to 4.6 no problem, great board).
Stays cool with the Hyper 212 Evo

Cons: Not at this price point. Do make sure you have a heat sink though.

Other Thoughts: The price difference between this and the 8350 (which this actually beats in a few tests) is enough to bump me up to a much nicer graphics card (from a 270x to a 280x, of course there were some price drops which helped too). System is actually a little video-card heavy at this point but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. Temperatures stays around 40C under a light load in a warm room, and by light load I mean, Photoshop and Illustrator with a little Minecraft on the side. Really happy with this processor.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: No problems from being refurbished seen. Got this in an ASUS M5A97 and it got autotuned to 4.6GHZ base speed without any work from me. We'll see if I can push it further once my thermal paste has set in with my CM Hyper 212 EVO!

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: I of course fretted about refurbished, but I wanted to save money with only getting the 4350 instead of the 6350. I don't really need those two cores, and I get a higher clock to boot! Everything has turned out great so far!

5 out of 5 eggsmine screams.

Pros: it's fast.

Cons: only one, (not really)
it will not work on slow motherboards. none.

go to your mobo dot com site, click support
then click, your mother board.
see this processor listed
can your mobo handle 125watts, many cheap mobo cant.
get an ASUS M5A99x Evo R2.0
and learn love.

Other Thoughts: each mobo has a chip set, the GLUE logic
some are SLOW
others are FA$T

speed is never free.

i moved my old F4100 to my wifes desktop,,

use a top qauality heat sink and fans everywhere. speed makes heat.
