And it idles at a lower power level. 4 cores x HT = 8 virtual cores, means that my VMs can each have virtual dual-cores while my Win 7 Ultimate x64 host still rips along without a hiccup. BS819 7/29/2011 1:55:14 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 5/5	Rating: 5/5The only CPU you need, Pros: Has more speed then your computer will use. The Maximun usage i has reached was 20%. Very reliable, no problems since i have owned it, and do not plan on having any. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: Get a real fan for the I Series proccessors. These things can reach the tempature of a rocket engine. Although, you would need several safety systems to fail. I reccoment a cool master Hyper 212 Plus. Cheap and very effective. Idles on average at 37c with my Thermaltake CLP0552 cooler and hits mid 50s with high load. Very stable with overclocks; was able to hit 3ghz and felt that I could have pushed it more. Cons: None whatsoever! Other Thoughts: In my opinion, best CPU for 1156 that money can buy. CPU: Bus clock 192mhz @ 19 3.68 gigahertz Intel Core i7 860 temp @ idle 45. I use the Asus Auto overclock in the bios to tune this Beast and it takes everything I throw at it. It has never BOD from overclocking. The Coolermaster Hyper 212 with 2 fans keeps it about 45c @ idle and will go up to 75c on gaming BFBC2 with 2 xfx ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series GPU's I have had it as high as 4.1 GHz but ran to hot. This old processor it the greatest!!!!! Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!
