I have thrown everything from 3DS max to the Sandbox Simulator at it and it performs wonderfully. I even had an incident about a year back where the CPU cooler went out over the weekend while I was gone and was running SETI@home calculations. logs said it was running at about 85C mid-way into Saturday and continued until late Sunday, when I came home. I believe this chip will serve me well into its fifth year of use, which is the normal change date for my systems. (Coupled with a 1GB nVidia 460). Cons: None Other Thoughts: I have this CPU running 24/7 since October 2010 and have not encountered any issues thus far. Cons: Fan is a little on the big side so completing other connections can be uncomfortable depending on your hands and case. Other Thoughts: Heats up pretty quickly by about 5-7 degrees (celcius) when gaming or under a lot of stress but seems to cap out there, don't have to worry about it gradual climb or heat damage at this time.
