5 out of 5 eggsI love this CPU

Pros: This drive has worked great and ran any game that I put up against it speedily

Cons: Inability to overclock, but that is to be expected

Other Thoughts: I really love this and it's great for a person that doesn't plan to overclock!

1 out of 5 eggsDecent product if it didnt break and Intel did not have a poor return policy

Pros: It worked pretty well...while it lasted

Cons: About 8 months later it failed, intel makes trying to RMA the thing confusing, they dont tell you the live chat hours or anything.

When i went to return it, i get to pay to RMA it, even though just about every other place with generally pay to return it even if its not "policy". But not the big intel, they need to waste more of your money.

Other Thoughts: after the chat how they pretty much robo chat to you and cant come up with a reason why they cant pay for their faulty product, im sticking to AMD.

Good riddance.

5 out of 5 eggsStupéfiant

Pros: Jumped from a Intel i3-350M (aka a Laptop) to this. What an amazing jump that was.

I would struggle every day to do the typical things I usually do (produce music, edit video, and multi task) which would always clock it into 100% usage, freeze, and so on. I couldn't deal with it, so I decided to build a computer after I had the resources.

This CPU does everything intensive that I throw at it, rendering images in Cinema4D, playing audio production projects in real time without a single buffer under run, render videos with CPU intensive video formats (that don't render using the GPU), and playing CPU intensive games. I don't think I'll need to upgrade in a while when it comes to the more important stuff I do than play games on it, and I'm extremely happy about that.

I mainly picked the 3570 instead of the 3570k because I know I wasn't going to be overclocking. I do know that it isn't hard, I just always wanted to stay away from it, one day I might try Intel Turbo Boost if that makes a big difference.

Another pro is that the stock heatsink manages to keep it safe / cool. Though, I DO want a aftermarket CPU fan which will happen sooner or later, I'll assure you that you'd probably won't NEED one unless if you're buying a 3570k and plan on OCing because the temperatures the stock heatsink manages to deliver is completely acceptable for what it is. With 14% load, this manages to stay at 34C, while with 99% load it manages to stay at 56C. Though, the temperatures aren't the BEST THING EVER, they work, including for the heatsink that comes with the CPU.

In general, I am completely satisfied with what I bought here.

Cons: I currently can't think of one that I've experience with it so far.

....I can't use it as a grill?

Other Thoughts: I would say that the pricing CAN be a Con, but there's defiantly nothing wrong with buying an AMD APU if the 3570 isn't in your price range! if you can though, I wouldn't hesitate to tell you to buy one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processor

Pros: Great Gaming CPU, Gets the job done on almost all current games.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: The extra benefit of not buying a K series CPU is you get the virtual machine features enabled on this cpu

5 out of 5 eggsGood CPU

Pros: Very good CPU, plenty fast. I didn't get the K version because one, I'm not interested in OCing and two, I got it for $15 off. It was only $15 more than the i5-3350P I was looking at. I think I got a good deal.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Before this CPU I was running an i3-2105 which was a very good dual core CPU. I was told that since I'm just a casual user and do light gaming I will not see much difference in performance over my i3-2105. They were wrong, this CPU was actually faster in everything I do on my PC. My monitor showed that I used 3-4 cores more often than 1-2 cores and the turbo boost really put it up there.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very fast CPU.
Decided on this at the last second over the K version, haven't regretted it.

Cons: A con is a reason to not buy this chip. There is no reason to not buy this chip.

Other Thoughts: Picked this up for my gaming rig 2013. Have no need to overclock, this thing is fast.

ASRock z77 Pro3
16 GB Mushkin 1600 ddr3
GTX 770
Corsair 750w PSU
Stock CPU cooler (Don't listen to the haters. Intel's own fan works wonders.)

4 out of 5 eggsHeatsink Noise

Pros: This is a pretty good processor overall. There's been few issues so far, and for a non-overclockable CPU it has no trouble running everything I need it to. In this day and age, a decent CPU is better than an overclocked outdated one. I suppose there's not much else to say for the pros, it is what it is.

Cons: The heatsink has begun to make a strange noise in the past week or so. It makes a sound like the fan blades are gently rubbing up against the main unit, creating an irritating buzzing sound. I'm not sure if that's the actual cause, or if I'm just overreacting to the noise, but it's quite annoying. I'll probably look into buying a 3rd party heatsink just to stop the noise.

Other Thoughts: Go with Haswell if you have the money. This is a FANTASTIC second choice though.
