Pros: 8 months ago another place had this new in box for 129.$ put it in a high end m.b. took it to 3.8 as fast as my 2500 at 3.9
Cons: No good M.B. you need a high end 1566 to really move these chips there all over priced.Funny this chip is the only one with s.h. fee.Thats how good this thing is.
Other Thoughts: I also picked up 2 other chips on this list last years new for alot cheaper price. From another place. Then went to newegg got 3 highend oem m.b. for half price that's how you do it.

Better than any whimpy overpriced dual core
Pros: 8MB L3 Cache
Cons: Getting good 1156 era boards that are not used up or broken is getting to be very difficult and expensive.
Other Thoughts: This is the best option for those who need to upgrade but don't want to spend piles of money on a rebuild or a new system. For those who bought OEM machines from Dell or HP this is a drop in upgrade over your i3 dual core.
