5 out of 5 eggsFast works Great

Pros: Works as it should, very fast and bargain for a 22nm I always go aftermarket cooling fan but with 22nm and the lower heat it produces the stock fan seems to do the job. I do light gaming on Steam and it doesn't stress at all doing any games and multitasking.

Cons: None so far,

Other Thoughts: Its very basic no intergrated video works perfectly for everyday use /weekend gamer.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little gamer

Pros: Price
Faster than expected

Cons: no K after the 2120
I have read it has no PCI 3.0 support, can not verify

Other Thoughts: I am very impressed with this chip, for sure more than I expected for the price, I put this in a mini ITX board and built a small shuttle like rig, pared with a GTX 650 and its running most games on High to Mid settings.
Also no overclocking options, but as I stuck it in a very small case, an OEM heatsink or water cooling is not an option, if building a budget rig, and you don't expect to do any video editing or such, this is a great chip.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for NAS, home server, etc.

Pros: It's an Ivy Bridge CPU, for a low price, and with a low TDP.

Cons: Not the fastest, but you knew that already. If used in a Plex media server, transcoding performance will be disappointing.

Other Thoughts: This CPU is in my home NAS, which uses a Linux mdraid RAID10. It keeps up just fine. Paired with a low-end discrete GPU, this would be perfect for an HTPC.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: What oh what can I say?
It is fast, it is Intel, and it is the latest generation of CPUs at the time of this review.

the tdp is only 55 watts so this would make a good cpu for mini itx cases with those power supplies that are only 200 or so watts.

Cons: It doesn't cook enchiladas for me whenever I want some.

Other Thoughts: This is a great CPU for a budget gamer's rig, or a basic workstation in an office that will last for years before it is too slow.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy for a budget build

Pros: Relatively cheap
LGA115 socket, easily upgraded to a more powerful processor

Cons: Not terribly powerful

Other Thoughts: For a budget build or just to get a starter box together, this is a great buy. It fits an LGA115 socket, which means you can easily upgrade it when you have the budget to.

5 out of 5 eggsJUST BUY IT

Pros: I bought this for a budget gaming PC and its working flawlessly! I upgraded my whole system from a Phenom x2 555 OC'd to 3.5ghz on water and this CPU feels FASTER(by a lot actually)

Cons: Not over-clockable... At all...
No hyper-threading(but that feature is almost useless in every game anyway)

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I know Starcraft 2 really likes modern intel CPUs. This plus a 7770 Ghz 1gig card plays it on ULTRA aka maxed out with out breaking a sweat!
Crysis 2(just under max) and skyrim(also just under max settings) also run at 60 fps.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Budget Gaming CPU

Pros: low energy consuming, low heat, low noise. the first one Intel G series supports 1600Mhz, worth the money!

Cons: nope

Other Thoughts: for 95 bucks you got 1600, ivy bridge, 55w. powerful sigle core performance which is the most eseential part of gaming PC. Strongly recommanded

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Intel Build

Pros: Easy Install, 22ns Ivy bridge, Blows my old 1.8ghz dual core that I had OC'd to 3.0ghz out of the water. Price.

Cons: Stock heat sink felt a little cheap. Its not an i7 ivy?

Other Thoughts: Even tho my older computer had similiar specs and used the same video card, geforce 460gtx, this processor will run games smoothly that I like to play on high settings (CS:GO). My old processor made it look like a slide show on lowest settings with the same game.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Perfect Fit!

Pros: This Processor fits my computing situation perfectly! It is a great low-end ivy bridge chip! It is a reasonable low-end gaming chip.

Cons: Did not research the product enough to find out that this processor does not support PCI-E 16x Gen. 3. It does support gen. 2 though. Still did not take an egg of because it was my fault.

Other Thoughts: I am a high school student who built his own system for the fist time. I was budget oriented but I am overall happy with this product.

My System:

MSI H61-P20
4 Gb Ram
This processor
MSI GTX 650 PE/OC
Mushkin SATA II 60 GB
Windows 8!

(all parts are from newegg)

5 out of 5 eggsNice for the price..

Pros: It's a nice cpu for the cost. It has enough power to work as a low end gaming cpu. Of course, there's a few titles that really demand a quadcore. Anyway, I've had nothing but low temps and good times.

Cons: Someone else stated this.. No pci-e 3.0. That sucks but I personally was aware of this.. It does not bother me much because I plan on upgrading to at least an Ivy i5 at a later date.

Other Thoughts: This is a great every day use cpu, or like how i'm using it.. a great stepping stone cpu for budget gaming builds. So far i have very, very little to complain about.
