5 out of 5 eggsworks good

Pros: processor can handle everything i can find to throw at it without any issue.
the stock cpu cooler keeps it nice and cool,, doesn't go above 52c.
lower wattage means lower heat. low heat means that the computer doesn't run as hot, this makes the computer last longer, and the cpu fan spin slower, this turns into less noise, and also less dust collection, so you don't have to clean your computer out as often.

Cons: stock cpu cooler is bad for motherboards that don't have a metal back plate on the bottom of the board. the weight of the heat sink in addition to the stress it creates from the spring attached pins, can make boards bend and eventually stop working. If your motherboard does not have a metal back-plate on it, order one, they are available right here at newegg, and they cost less than shipping your motherboard back for a RMA. i had to do it once already with a board that had no backplate.

5 out of 5 eggsFlies

Pros: Really Fast

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Paired this with a Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD4 and it works great. Maybe its just a comparison because I was upgrading from an older Core 2 Duo, but this thing screams. Whereas the old processors would normally sit at 30% load at idle, and 90% when trying to multitask, but this things normally sits at around 2% in windows 7. With a coolermaster cpu cooler the cores hang around 29 degrees and haven't gone above 45.

If you don't do high end video or sound editing, and you don't need onboard video because you have a real card, I don't see any reason to go higher than this. The 3350 is perfect for my needs.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Quad

Pros: Very Fast. Honestly at stock speed its as fast as my i5-2500k at stock and maybe slightly faster. However the 2500k is unlocked so its a beast at 4.5 GHZ. Anyhow, this thing is very fast...plays BF3 and Total War Shogun 2 Fall of Samurai at very high to max settings. Paired with a 650ti Boost I can enable 4xMSAA in both BF3 and Total war Shogun at 1080p. Plays very smooth at about 50FPS average. Temps are 61c max using Thermaltake CLP0556 Heatsink and Fan. Better alternative than stock fan as it is thicker and has better fan.

Cons: cannot unlock multiplier however I knew that going in. With the sale I saved 50 Bucks VS buying a K version.

Other Thoughts: If you don't plan on overclocking this is an awesome quad core. It honestly is very powerful and can play modern and future games very well paired with a good GPU. I switched over from an i3 and it made a night and day difference in gaming. You definitely need a quad core if you plan on playing modern graphic intensive games and its worth the extra $40 VS a good I3.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: High speed
Non-HyperThreaded 4 core setup
Well priced

Cons: Not much room for overclocking but I didn't buy it for that
Low end turbo

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a rig that I built my wife. She needed something that could play games and browse the web. Along with a 7770 and a Vertex 4 SSD this setup works well with 8GB of RAM. She isn't a hardcore gamer and just wanted maxed out graphics on some games like Kingdom of Amalur with no issue. This setup replaced her gaming laptop with a 460M so anything was better than that. Good processor for basic gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsIntel4Life

Pros: Fits the bill as I had no need for video on the CPU so a better thermal rating.

Cons: Cons? Huh? Read the technical specifications before buying.

Other Thoughts: Ex-System Builder with 7+years of Professional PC/Server/Mainframe assembly. Prior system to this was an i7-860. I needed a system that could fit my budget for a family member and an avid gamer for her hearts content.

System Setup:
OS: Win7 x64 Home
Case: APEVIA X-DREAMER4 Pink
HSF: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2
CPU: i5-3350P
Mobo: ASRock B75 PRO3-M LGA 1155 Intel B75
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x 4GB DDR3 1333 CAS7
Video: ASUS GTX650TI-OC-2GB DDR5
DVD: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X
HD: 1TB Samsung SATA
PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 430W

5 out of 5 eggsi5 3350p

Pros: Stable, and this thing makes muti-tasking more faster then my old Q6600.

Cons: Price, could be cheaper by 15-20 bucks and not on sale enough!

5 out of 5 eggsPCI-e 3.0 support

Pros: Lowest cost Ivy bridge with PCI-3 3.0 support. Fast enough for a SOHO PC. Processing power wise I could have used an i3, but wanted PCI-e 3.0 for graphics card support and i3 doesn't support 3.0, so this one was perfect for me.

Cons: None, but since I have to put something here this chip does not have on-board graphics, but then you should know that going in.

Other Thoughts: This HOSO build:
i5-3550P CPU, Zalman CNPS9500AT Cooler, ASRock H77M MB, Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600 CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B MB, Seagate STBD2000101 HDD, XFX Radeon FX-775A-ZNP4 graphics, Samsung BD-reader/DVDRW, OCZ 600W PS, in a minitower case.
