5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great for every day tasks. Have over 10 of these in the field for desktop office computers.

Cons: Easy to install, low heat great for general use.

Other Thoughts: I will be buying more to put in desktop computers for the offices I work in.

5 out of 5 eggsIntel Ivy Bridge on the Cheap

Pros: -Ivy Bridge
-Runs cool
-Strong single and dual core performance

Cons: -Not as much as improvment over the overclocked E5200 I was running before

Other Thoughts: I had a Z68 motherboard collecting dust so I decided to upgrade my "garage PC". Before I was running an overclocked E5200 on a P35 motherboard. I wanted to be able to use USB 3.0 and let my SSD run at SATA III speeds. The speed increase over my overclocked E5200 wasn't as noticable as I thought it would be. Other than that little gripe the CPU is running strong in a not-so ventilated case with the stock HSF in Texas heat.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than I expected

Pros: I use this in a new gaming rig with an OC'ed 7850. Low power, and 50c under load for me (AC5 thermal paste) Great FPS on lots of games - 60fps on maxed witcher 2 (minus usampling), skyrim, etc. For $65ish and the fact that the board you put this in can be upgraded all the way to 3rd gen i7 if you want to later makes this a great buy.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Two thumbs up.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat cpu!

Pros: i didnt think i would get any good performance from this cpu but it turns out that i got great performance out of this cpu, its very snappy, its not a cpu that generates ridiculous temps if paired with a good cooler. i was kinda surprized that paired up with a radeon hd 7850 overclocked to 975mhz it played battlefield 3 on ultra 1080p with descent frame rates around the 45-55, im actually impressed thumbs up

Cons: no hyper threading and cant over clock thats all that this lacks

Other Thoughts: what this build has
motherboard : asus p8b75 m csm
os hdd: 80gb velociraptor 10,000rpm
hdd: 2 tb wd black
ram:hyperX 8gb 1600 mhz dual channel
cooling: cooler master hyper 212 evo

5 out of 5 eggsPower > Price

Pros: This so called budget chip is above par compared to the previously branded core 2 duos. It is amazing what Intel continues to do in such a short time span.

Cons: Less power required, less heat produced, better performance... Is this a con?!

Other Thoughts: My previous Intel CPU is still going strong and exceeds my needs, this is for a secondary build in an HTPC used for casual gaming and obviously home theater use and seems like it is overkill yet it's a budget chip??

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed

Pros: A Low power consumption,Great power processer for my PC BSD machine.I needed to build a economy machine for this purpose and this is a great processer. My temps with the stock heat sink are from about 27-30 degrees celcius!!!! Awesome

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte B75M-D3H

5 out of 5 eggsNice for the Price

Pros: Very snappy, 3.2Ghz Dual Core and its an Ivy Bridge. Basically an i3 minus hyper-threading. Great for a budget build. Has integrated graphics too.

Cons: None thus far. This CPU doesn't support PCI 3.0 but the GTX 650 I have installed works flawlessly anyways.

Other Thoughts: This was a budget gaming build.
G2130 - 3.2Ghz Ivy Dual Core
Biostar H77MU3 Mobo
2x4gb G.Skill Aries PC12800 ram
MSI GTX650 2gb GPU
500gb WD Caviar Black Sata 6gb/s

I must say this thing works well. Installed Sims 3 and a bunch of expansions and It runs pretty smooth with all the Vid settings Maxed out! I imagine it will run most games just fine.
