5 out of 5 eggs4670k Pure Awesome

Pros: All i can say is, get this if you're planning on gaming with a budget in mind.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Pretty warm cpu with stock fan, recommend after-market one.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing CPU!

Pros: This new CPU has been amazing! Tested out on a couple older games that are more CPU heavy and it ran prefect. CPU is OC to 4.

Cons: Nothing to report

5 out of 5 eggsBeasty

Pros: - Extremely fast, allows for quick everyday computing, and also helps reach very high FPS in cpu-tilted games.

- Overclocking helps a lot, I was not expecting much when I had overclocked the cpu from 3.8 to 4.2 -- but wow. In games like minecraft, my average fps of 50's instantly got up to the 100's(intergrated graphics). With my dedicated gpu I got up from my average 120 up to 250.

- Very cheap

Cons: Cons? Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: If you are going for gaming this is more than enough.

5 out of 5 eggsCajun's Review of Intel Core i5-4670k

Pros: I was looking to replace my Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 and after reviewing several AMD & Intel CPUs I went with the i5-4670k. This CPU is fantastic!!! It can handle anything I throw at it which is mainly games right now. In overall performance I noticed a dramatic increase in performance over my older CPU. I can only imagine what the i7-4770 would be like. The price is only $240 and my old CPU was around $350. I'm glad Intel has these quality "middle ground" CPUs and there is nothing to complain about.

Cons: none so far except for the stock CPU cooler which I replaced on purchase with a new one

Other Thoughts: My older computer was a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.0 GHz, with 8 GB of DDR2 RAM, and my new setup with the Intel i5-4670k &8 GB of DDR3 RAM pretty much blows it out of the water. My older system is still works well but it was time to upgrade to a whole new system. Only thing I brought over from the older system was the video card ( EVGA GTX 660 ti )

5 out of 5 eggsMy Bestie

Pros: The best processor I've ever owned. Stays a cool 27C idle, 67C gaming, and 78C-92C stressing (depends on which test) using a Noctua NH-L9i.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is my 2nd PC build ever. My 1st build was an A10-5800K and I will probably never buy an AMD for my own PC ever again.

4 out of 5 eggsSuper pissednow

Pros: Fast single threader. Overclockable

Cons: Only single threader.

Other Thoughts: I knew it was a single threader when I bought it, but I was under the impression that to play games this was all I needed to own everything I played for like the next 3 years. Now Watch dogs is coming out demanding multithreaded processors like i7 and amd 8350. This cpu is dead. Don't buy if you want to future proof yourself for gaming. Go amd or i7 if you have more income.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent CPU

Pros: Blazing fast performance.
Great overclocking potential.

Cons: Puzzling stock fan and heat sink. For a CPU intended to be pushed this is a very sub-par cooler.
If the overly simplistic installation doesn't give it away - you're going to run fairly high temps even at stock speeds.

Other Thoughts: I had no idea just how CPU limited my game performance was until I installed this beauty of a CPU.

I wont let the poor fan and heat sink detract from my score since, let's face it, you're buying this CPU to overclock it. I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo as a top notch air solution.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Processor

Pros: Fast

Cons: Nice chip. Very fast. Runs cool. Installs easy. It was time to move away from AMD for my main rig (though I will be using my 975 phenom in my second rig with an HD6850). No more potential bottleneck with a high end GPU. Better average frame rates. Low temps. Highly recommended. Installed it just today everything is jolly good.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome CPU

Pros: Great CPU with decent overclocking potential.
Socket still have an upgrade path (from what I've read)

Cons: Minimal upgrade over the previous generation. Intel has focused on upgrading the internal GPU which doesn't really do my build any good.

Other Thoughts: My unit overclocked to 4.5 with ASUS 4-way optimization. I've seen some go higher and some go lower. It's about getting lucky in which batch you receive.
