Pros: Snappy processor for what I build the system for. this cpu was used to build a general purpose machine, in conjuction with an Asrock G31M-GS R2.0 and G Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK Ram. Boots super Quick running windows 7.

Cons: None yet.

Pros: If you have a 775 M.B. P45 or P43 this chip will O.C.to 3,6 and run like a dream.Really good buy because of the O.C. If your looking for a very fast chip this is a very good price.I.ve had my 2.9 for 3 years now and it has been a Fantastic chip.

Cons: Most M.B. bios of 775 are so outdated now.This is a 4 year old chip only a P45 series M.B. will O.C. this chip.Problem all the newer games want 4 cores now.

Other Thoughts: Now the 4 series Sandy's are out why don't they just mass produce the 6 cores and lower the price who wants another Tricked our Sandy.The DDR4 ram will be out late part of 2014 or 2015 it will change Everything.I mean a HUGE change is coming speeds that the now 6 core have.Just Wait.

Pros: Very cheap, and if you over clock it it will be much faster than any similar priced CPU.

Cons: Old lga 775 socket

Other Thoughts: I had one of these processors for many years and ran it all day every day at 3.6 GHz and a FSB of 1333 and my windows 7 experience index was 7.0

Pros: THE best dual core LGA 775 CPU I have run.
Fantastic for Video, multitasking, photo editing, gaming you name it. Runs cool with stock F/H

Cons: No cons attached to this baby.

Other Thoughts: I have been running one of these in a multimedia PC with Windows 7, for several years now, and all I can say is this is a solid, Core 2 Duo CPU.
