5 out of 5 eggsA Nice CPU

Pros: I went from the Sandy Bridge to this one and I notice the speed increase I'm very happy with it. The motherboard is a MSI H97 Gaming 3.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsTotal Bang for the Buck!!!

Pros: Runs cool. Sips power. Hyperthreaded. Stupid cheap!
This thing holds its own in benchmarks against an old QX9650 I have in Super-Pi and Cinebench!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm using this in my HTPC coupled with a GTX 650 Ti Boost SC, on an ASRock H87 Fatal1ty board and 8GB RAM. Overkill I know for websurfing and watching streamed movies to HTPC, but it's also adequate for some light-duty gaming. I'm very, very pleased with what you get for almost nothing here!

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget spu

Pros: Used this in a build for a friend. If you aren't planning to do any overclocking and are tight on your budget, then this little baby should do the job. Pair this with a decent GPU and you should have no problem playing games on the market right now, just don't expect to push it all the way to super max settings.

Cons: No cons for the price

Other Thoughts: I always recommend to save up the money if you can to get a better CPU. Mainly because how they have been evolving lately you shouldn't have to upgrade it for a couple generations, especially since CPUs come out less frequently than GPUs

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: I put one of these into a Shuttle for my parents. It seems plenty powerful and snappy. The machine draws 15 watts on idle and 70 watts at full load using Prime95.

Cons: None. Can't comment on gaming ability.

Other Thoughts: CPU frequency throttling does not seem to affect the watt draw but allowing the CPU to throttle negatively affects the snappiness of desktop tasks and web browsing. I decided to locked CPU at full speed.

5 out of 5 eggsGood enough

Pros: Upgrading from an old 1.8 ghz intel cpu. Hoping to do some basic gaming will write back once it arrives.

Cons: I paid for rush processing and 2 day shipping on Monday will not be receiving it till Thursday what a waste of money

4 out of 5 eggsGood CPU

Pros: Its good processor, it will outrun pretty much outrun any entry AMD cpu. I am using it for a month now and this CPU hasn't let me down yet.. It has a good performance and keeps up in all the games I have played.. I would keep this CPU because I like it so much, I would rather pass on upgrading it.. *thumbs*

Cons: No cons yet...

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Heat sink is good, best price to performance Intel CPU that i know of

Cons: Non other than it isn't overclock-able, not that it needs it

Other Thoughts: Hyper threading, 3.4 GHz, ECC support... can this get any better for the price? i think not
