5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processor!

Pros: Easy install, easy to use and handles a lot! Perfect for someone who doesn't care to Overclock their processor, but also want's a quick processor! Not sure what else to say about a processor that works like it's supposed to haha.

Cons: I haven't had any issues

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy to install. Wasnt sure about the pin set up but worked easily.
It doesnt get hot. 40 Celsius which i believe is like 85 Fahrenheit? Temperature does pick up while gaming but stock cooler does great.
Integrated graphics are actually pretty good.

Cons: Id like to see the price a little lower for a 3.3 Ghz but oh well.

5 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: Great for gaming with a 750ti FTW gpu. I can run Skyrim(Heavily Modded)/BF4/Tomb Raider all on Ultra settings @1080P. I haven't seen it reach temps above 51C (Paired with a EVGA M-ITX Cooler).

Cons: Not Unlocked...

Other Thoughts: I have a I7-4770K on my main gaming system and I don't see a gaming performance difference between the two (I tested both systems with the same GPU/Memory/SSD).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU!

Pros: Very fast and reliable processor. Have had no problems with it whatsoever and it occasionally gets it's speed up to 3.6 ghz when it is performing an extremely CPU intensive task.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsmy 2 cents

Pros: I purchased this CPU for a new build. This new computer is replacing my previous one, with a Pentium 4 3.4GHz from about 10 years ago. I haven't run many programs that stress the CPU very much. I installed Portal 2, Half Life 2, and I am just finishing up Starcraft 2.

System Specs:
Intel i5 4590 with stock cooler
MSI|Z87-G41 Motherboard
16 Gigs Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR3 1600
Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive
Samsung 840 Pro SSD 128 Gig
Generic mid tower case with 3 120mm fans

The CPU idles in the upper 30's Celsius. I have 3 tabs of firefox open, one tab with Netflix. Starcraft 2 downloading off of Battle.net and I was able to launch the game while it was finishing up its download (installation). The CPU temp went up to around 50C. Thats the hottest ive seen it yet (owned system for about 3 weeks). The case fans and CPU fan are all pretty quiet. Im not OCD about noise, but it doesn't make much noise at all. CPU fan runs around 1300 RPM on low load.

With Windows 7 installed on the SSD, my computer boots up in about 10 seconds or less. Everything works great, and I am using the integrated graphics. Half Life 2 and Portal 2 play smooth on highest detail @ 1280 x 1024 (max my current monitor supports).

I usually have around 12 gigs of RAM available at any given time.

Windows Experience scores:
Processor: 7.6
Memory(RAM): 7.8
Graphics: 6.7
Gaming Graphics: 6.7
Primary HD: 7.9

Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Other Thoughts: The integrated graphics are no slouch. From the light research i have done about the integrated graphics capabilities / performance, it seems like they are pretty close to what a GeForce 750 can do. I like to play games, mostly FPS (I love Half Life 2 and Half Life Deathmatch and Portal) and Starcraft type stuff. I know eventually I will buy a graphics card to really complete the system and make it very strong, but it will take a fairly good graphics card to overtake the integrated graphics. Buying something like a GeForce 750 is basically not a improvement. With a good graphics card, this computer would basically be a well rounded strong performer, that could play any game out there on basically max settings.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for the Buck

Pros: Speed
Quad-Core
Price
Intel 4600 graphics

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Replaced my Core 2 Duo E8400 with this CPU. After reviewing performance vs. price, this is an excellent bang-for-your-buck CPU. Performs everything I've thrown against it admirably. I actually used the Intel 4600 graphics for about a month before I purchased an EVGA Geforce 750TI. Onboard graphics were actually pretty good (though I did notice a marked improvement with the EVGA card) and I didn't notice any performance hit. I'm extremely happy with this CPU.

Rig: ASUS H879M motherboard, 8GB DDR3, Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD (boot drive), WD Black 1TB HDD (data drive), Win 8.1 64-bit.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far impressed

Pros: Ridiculously simple to install. I paired this with a GA-Z97X SLI. It popped right in the socket and was good to go. The Intel provided fan/heatsink is decent, but I'll update after playing some maxed out games and watching the temp. I plan on going with something liquid cooled, possibly the Corsair h100i. Only had it for about 2 days so I've yet to really get a good feel for it, will update accordingly

Cons: Worst I can say so far is the fan/heatsink. As far as I'm concerned, I bought a CPU, Intel simply provided it for free, so it's hardly a con, especially given its simple installation.

Other Thoughts: I'm incredibly impressed with Newegg. This is my first from-scratch build, and I ordered this guy, a set of G. Skill RAM and a Corsair PSU. I ordered them on a Thursday, selected the cheap shipping to save some cash, and the parts came the NEXT day! Everything was neatly packaged with obvious attention to its well being. This will not be the last time I order from Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent performance

Pros: It delivers exactly as advertised. It works flawlessly and the temperatures haven't topped 45°C even during burn in and running 36°C right now with the stock heat sink/fan.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great bang for the buck.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Cool

Pros: Fits all my needs, and more! Even with Skyrim, Minecraft, Watch_Dogs (All with Max Settings) and a movie rendering, all running simultaneously, it still wasn't enough to max out the CPU. I finally had to use a CPU stresser to get it to max out for heating tests.

Cons: None
