5 out of 5 eggsAwesome CPU

Pros: I have yet to overburden this CPU. Also it plays CPU intensive games no problem. I played skyrim with around 100 mods with the integrated GPU. Thats remarkable.

Cons: Yeah right !

5 out of 5 eggsAMD no more

Pros: this is my first Intel build and I will never go back, this thing has handled everything I have thrown at it and it has not faltered at all, I'm so impressed if your looking for a great processor at a great price look no further

Cons: NOTHING!!!!!

Other Thoughts: this was going to be a step until I got a I7 but not any more... get this processor.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic CPU

Pros: Low temps
Runs everything I need it to
No problems so far

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great CPU, runs everything great on the ASROCK H97 Anniversary motherboard and Asus GTTX970 Strix. Planetside 2, a very CPU-heavy game runs about 100fps on ultra settings. Runs Shadow of Mordor, Advanced Warfare, and Skyrim all on ultra settings with no problem. Can't speak to the on-board graphics, though. I did use them while I was waiting for my GTX970 and could still play Planetside 2.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Incredible performance.
Don't bother with amd, seriously

Cons: I wish there weren't so many models and pricey. But with no competition, this is what happens.

1 out of 5 eggsheatsink is a pain

Pros: Hasn't melted itself yet

Cons: The heatsink for this is a pain to install. The push-pins-then-twist-to-lock were backwards on 2 of the 4 sides, so getting it properly installed took a while. Thought I broke it several times and the thermal paste got spread out a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price!

Pros: Pretty good upgrade from my Phenom II X4 940 BE. Better architecture, per-core performance, power consumption, heat output, etc. It doesn't bottleneck in most of my games. Only game I have that it bottlenecks in is BF4, but that's understandable. It's freaking BF4! This cpu has brought up significant performance in pretty much all of my games, including Hitman: Absolution, Serious Sam HD, Alan Wake, Borderlands 2, Shadow of Mordor and many emulated GameCube titles. All are performing great. GTA IV still sucks though. I'm not using the stock cooler, instead a CM Hyper 212+. Temps are fine, but I think I applied the thermal paste a little sloppy.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had extra money to spend on a K-series i5 and Z-series ASUS mobo instead of this cpu and H-series mobo. It's mid-range stuff, but not bad. I count down the days till I can get some serious gear!

When I say this cpu bottlenecks BF4, I don't mean it's terrible. Just sometimes in full 64p matches, fps in the low 50s can show up, usually when the chaos is all up in your face. So it's alright :)

4 out of 5 eggsIntel i5-4460

Pros: -Quiet
-Fast

Cons: -Not an i7

Other Thoughts: For those who do not need it all this CPU is a great step into a cheap build that can easily be expanded later.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Chip

Pros: Great Processor.. Stays pretty cool around 35c with stock fan.. Seems to be handling 20mp @15fps of video feed and staying around 25% processor usage

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat processor

Pros: Runs nice and cool
Not overly expensive
Fast

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Debated this vs an G3258 but glad I did this. Runs great with an MSI H81M-P33 mobo with 8GB of RAM for a cheap home server build. Not a gaming machine so integrated graphics with stock cooler work great, and if I ever decide to pop a graphics card in for gaming the speed of the processor should still suffice. I'd probably get an aftermarket cooler at that point too. Very pleased with my purchase.
