5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Very fast, 4 cores, unlocked

Cons: overclocking significantly requires expensive cooler

Other Thoughts: I have no need to overclock this but I have clocked it to 3.8 GHz with stock cooler. If you are planning to buy a $100 cooler with this then I would recommend buying an i7 instead.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Processor

Pros: Probably the most expensive part I put into my PC but well worth it. I don't have it overclocked at all and it handles multiple windows and games with no problem at all! Easy install and low power consumption. Really impressive.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsi5-4690k

Pros: I have had AMD all my life and yea they are ok but honestly Ive had the FX 6100 the FX 6300 and even a FX 8350 and from all of those ive had I decide to get a i5-4690k this time.

I must admit for 4 cores and it not having hyperthreading this just slams over any fx 6xxx or even the fx 8xxx. Also the fact its so strong yet takes half the power of a 8350.

Cons: none I understand the intel power and I will never go back to AMD

Other Thoughts: I have not yet overclocked this cpu I have read it can get to 4.5ghz plus. So far ive kept it at its stock 3.5 and its ran every game i put in front of it. And I just have a simple GTX 750.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat.

Pros: Works well. Haven't overclocked it or anything yet. Doesn't seem to need to really. But that's just me.

Cons: Nothing!

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect First Intel CPU!

Pros: Perfect performance for what I was looking for and I haven't even overclocked it! The stock cooler works fine at stock speeds despite what some people say. Other than very little gaming with an outdated GPU I have never gone over about 30% usage.

Cons: Can't overclock without an aftermarket cooler if you don't want heat problems.

Other Thoughts: Ordered an EVGA GTX 970 FTW to pair with this, and about to get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, so let the games begin!

5 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Fast enough to run any game on market with ease for years to come. I7 would be overkill.

Cons: Intel sock coolers are absolute junk. Make sure you get one that screws in without those plastic clips that may or may not hold securely.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU!

Pros: * Fast
* 4 Real Cores (No Hyper-threading)
* Good value for what you get
* OCing went smoothly without a hitch (OCed to 4.4ghz currently, could easily push further if needed)

Cons: None other than the CPU heatsink being poorly made, although that's to be expected of any stock cooler.

Other Thoughts: Like mentioned the stock CPU cooler looks very cheaply made, so if you plan on OCing (I would expect to), definitely invest in an aftermarket cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsWow... just, wow.

Pros: This thing is great for gaming. Upgraded from a budget computer with an A8-6500 rated at 3.5 GHz. This thing runs laps around it.

Cons: The included heatsink and fan looks fairly unimpressive, but its been working fine so far.

Other Thoughts: A worthwhile buy. If you are simply looking for something to game with, look no further.
