5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: You cannot get better performance for this price.
Overclocked to 4.8Ghz 4.9 will boot however fails prime 95.

Cons: comes with the unsatisfactory intel cooler. do yourself a favor and spend 20 dollars on a decent heatsink.

Other Thoughts: you dont need an i7 processor to get amazing multitasking and gaming performance. save yourself 100 bucks and settle for an i5. this model outbenchs alot of i7 processors when it comes down to it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cpu. Great overclock.

Pros: I decided to buy this cpu because of how well people were saying it overclocks, and it was worth it. I got it up to 4.6ghs with just a cm hyper 212 plus. Definetly recommend this cpu for people who want to overclock but don't have enough money for an i7.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: If you are willing to pony up a few more bucks and get this k series i5 it is totally worth it.

5 out of 5 eggspretty excellent

Pros: Works really well, a great improvement from my pentium. Haven't overclocked it yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Cons: Had a little bit of difficulties (slow opening of programs, loading games) on my computer after installing it, but I'm not sure if it was because of the new processor.

Other Thoughts: Pretty good

5 out of 5 eggsGreat! using it for gaming.

Pros: - Its already high clock speed
- Is something like $100 cheaper than the i7
- Got to admit the name is pretty cool. Even put a sticker of the devils canyon logo on my case lol

Cons: - Nothing that I am smart enough to notice

Other Thoughts: I'm running it at 4.4Ghz at 1.325V. Which I think is about average and its usually at 75°C with an AIO cooler while gaming. Overclocking it gave about a 4-5 fps gain in games like Total War: Attila.

5 out of 5 eggsvery good cpu

Pros: easy to overclock, great speed and great gaming performance

Cons: mine runs a little hot, might have just gotten a bad chip though.

Other Thoughts: for gaming this is the go to processor. if you need to do things that are a little more intensive, spring for the 4790k.

5 out of 5 eggsIt does its job well

Pros: - Price isn't bad
- even the integrated graphics can run pretty demanding games
- Works with no issue with just stock cooler

Cons: - Its not the best for live streaming to people

Other Thoughts: - Having really tried to bring it to its max load as I am still using stock cooler but its working grat
- Never had to use its integrated graphics myself but a friend was for a solid three months and was even getting fallout 4 to work on just it (blew my mind)
- Would highly recommend over what else is in the price range

5 out of 5 eggsIt's got the power

Pros: - Easy install
- Runs cool! I've put it under load under a Hyper 512 EVO and it barely notches over 60C. Sits between 30C and 35C during most normal operations. Use with PCM fans and it'll be more quiet than a thing that is quiet.

Cons: - Seriously, Intel, just stop shipping those fans, cut your price by $5, and reap the benefits by saving on packaging.

Other Thoughts: Anybody know how to install an Intel electric fan/heatsink into a styrofoam beer cooler? Asking for a friend...
