5 out of 5 eggsAwesome CPU for the money

Pros: - Low cost
- Overclockable
- Superior single core performance

Cons: - Only dual-core

Other Thoughts: This processor is amazing. I have it running with the stock cooler now -- 4.1GHz @ 1.15v. The temperature maxes out at around 62C under load.

Would definitely buy again!

4 out of 5 eggsgreat cpu for the price.

Pros: Great cpu and cheap. I've used a few of these for clients looking to have a pc capable of gaming but primarily use there pcs for work or as an htpc.

Cons: none really for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fun Little CPU

Pros: Great home theater cpu because it has a really low tdp and high overclocking potential. A lot of fun to mess with. Really cheap as well so it's not a big deal if you burn one out overclocking.

Cons: Only has 2 cores however for this low of a price you can't ask for more. Stock cooler is just sufficient for stock settings; I would suggest lowering the vcore if you aren't overclocking to have it run a little cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsBEASTMODE

Pros: OC'd to 4.8GHz core w/ a 4.4GHz cache frequency. Prime95 stable for well over 24hrs. Plays WoW on ultra/ high like a boss.

Cons: It's overvolted more than I'd normally like (1.435 core/1.325 cache voltage) and I ended up having to put an H100i on it to keep it cool. Stock fan won't do it clocked this high, didn't even try.
Water cooling kind of kills the price/performance ratio of this chip, but I already had the H100i, so no harm/ no foul.

Other Thoughts: NZXT S340 - White
EVGA 500w 80+ Bronze
AsRock Z97M Pro 4
Pentium G3258/ Corsair H100i

5 out of 5 eggsPROOF that games play on cheap hardware

Pros: i started this as an experiment to see if i could get this thing to play games at decent frame rates well low and behold this processor is a beast. without over clocking it i was able to blow an I3 out of the water in a benchmark and now my friends can come over and we can have lan parties together and have fun. love this proc

Cons: its not an i5 you wont get to multi task and its was hard to find a cheap motherboard for this for my experiment but it works and i love her

Other Thoughts: while this is my media server build she clocks mad results and handles quite more than i was expecting for a budget game build

5 out of 5 eggsAmazed!

Pros: 4.4ghz on stock cooling 100% stable for 5+ months, I have this in an inexpensive gaming rig build and it's a beast. I purchased this as a budgetary measure until I could upgrade to an i5 or i7 down the road. It's been so blazing fast for everything I do I haven't even thought of upgrading.

Cons: dual core, but seriously at this price and the fact that most games don't use more than 2 cores anyway I can't imagine any processor on the market being a better value.

Other Thoughts: I can't possibly say enough about how impressed I am with this chip.

5 out of 5 eggsMassive Value!

Pros: - Turned it on, overclocked to 4Ghz immediately
- Worked easily in a cheap H81 (MSI H81M-P33)
- Probably can clock way higher but I am just so impressed already with the value!
- Using this in a simple file server, but its seriously almost faster than my [aging] Core i7 860 gaming rig.

Cons: - If you aren't intending to overclock, then there are cheaper 3-3.2Ghz CPUs which will save you a few bucks without a noticeable perf delta
- CPU is TOO good. I am tempted to now upgrade my gaming rig...
