5 out of 5 eggsECONOMY, DURABILITY, AND PERFORMANCE

Pros: Intel does it again. What better way to celebrate 20 years of leadership in the CPU Industry than to give loyal consumers that PENTIUM quality that put Intel ahead of all the rest? This little chip will surprise you. Without question the duo core speed rivals that of what I've seen in some quad core chips! I haven't overclocked it yet but from all that I've read this is one sick chip for the money. It's more than what most users will ever need and the price is right. Currently it is selling for 20 bux cheaper than what I paid but that doesn't bother me because I know I purchased Intel quality at a very affordable price regardless. Who ever thought we'd see the legendary Pentium rise again on a Haswell platform? This is Intel's gift and I salute them for making an affordable quality product available to the consumer in the form of a chip that costs less than $100.oo. In this case the consumer gets much more than what they paid for. Totally impressed here. WTG Intel! :)

Cons: They could have covered it in a platinum plated lid! :) J/K

Other Thoughts: This was used in a build I did for my 5 year old daughter. I feel I've spoiled her with this chip but at least she won't be hanging on the net with a sluggish pc when she plays her educational programs like PBS KIDS and such.

Pros: i have this in a msi h81m-p33 motherboard,overclocked it to 4.3 with no voltage changes,very stable,4.4 is also stable with a 1.275v.at 4.3 ghz it rates a 7.3 on 7 wei.very happy

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: the intergrated graphics with the gpu cranked up to 1350mhz with ddr3 1333 memory get a 5.5 on desktop graphics and and 6.6 gaming graphics, not too bad

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Dual Core Cpu

Pros: Paired with MSI Z97 Gaming 3 MoBo and hyperX 4Gb and GT 740, the performance is great for a Dual Core for my light gaming and web browsing usage at stock speeds. CPU is unlocked and was able to OC to 4.5ghz watercooled and bumping the voltage to 1.300V No stress test, settled for 4.0ghz with stock voltage

Cons: No Cons at this time, but for those who are curious about the cpu performances with game emulators, it will tax the CPU with everything cranked to the max

5 out of 5 eggsCasecutter is "the" i d i o t

Pros: Cheap super performer, best chips ten times their cost. Got some really bad advice over at Ben's from the local know it all that couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper towel, CASECUTTER, what a needy little troll worm. Good thing I didn't listen to his girlish impotent banter. Loose the timid sycophant and use your on head.

Cons: None at all running at 4.5 on msi Z87-G41

Other Thoughts: Don't take advice from some random half wit unmensch who couldn't find their a s s with both hands already permanently on their impetigo riddled posterior .

5 out of 5 eggsBest Customer Service

Pros: Overclocked to 4.2 Ghz at stock voltage (A one Ghz jump!)

Clocked it even further like a champ.

First one got was a lemon, so I contacted Newegg and they sent me a new one within 2 days free of charge!

Had to only wait two days for replacement.

Cons: First one I got didn't overclock well (Lemon).

5 out of 5 eggsOC'ing Beast

Pros: ability to OC

Cons: none at all,buy it

Other Thoughts: i bought this locally on sale for $47 and paired it with the Asrock z97 board i purchased here for $79,also found an Antec kuhler 620 for $20 on sale. i have this chip OC'ed to 4.7 with 1.4v. system temps are 20c idle and 58c using Prime 95. also using a sapphire 7870xt,SSD and a corsair 500w PSU, and 8gigs of Team memory.plays games very well. not bad for a budget build using parts i had laying around

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a deal!

Pros: Super easily overclocked to 4.0GHz on stock air cooler that came with the chip thanks to the ASROCK Z97 Anniversary board I paired it with. Runs circles in games around my old Core2Quad

Cons: None that I could find

Other Thoughts: Weird that it doesn't have support for 1600Mhz memory but it was easily fixed by using the XMP profile on the aforementioned board. Obviously no hyperthreading is a bit of a letdown but for a budget chip that rocks this much I'll take it!

5 out of 5 eggsIntel needs more of this

Pros: This little chip is dirty cheap and in my opinion it topples the athlon x4 for budget gaming CPU. If you buy this chip you must overclock, at stock speeds it plain. With an overclock this thing keeps up with top i7s when benchmarked single and dual core operations. Right now 2014 most games only use 2 cores so if you aren't doing video rendering or other multicore tasks this is a great chip and will give you top gaming at bottom prices.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsG3258

Pros: incredibly affordable and incredibly fast. you can OC to at least 4.2 stable (thats as hard as i wanted to push it) with the stock fan supplied. just ordered a RAJINTEK Titan and im eager to see how high i can go.

Cons: only 2 cores. not a big deal at the moment since most games dont utilize more than 2 ATM and i dont do anything requiring more.

Other Thoughts: if you dont do much more than game and surf then this cpu is about as cost effective as you can get. i spent the money i saved on a much better MB and GPU. when a great deal on the right cpu comes along the rest of my gear will be ready.

5 out of 5 eggsMy living room media pc.

Pros: I am currently using this beast of a CPU with a ASRock H97M-ITX/ac LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard. The prices of the parts do no reflect the performance. The computer boots in less than 10 seconds when combined with a Samsung 830 SSD. I would honestly recommend this CPU for just about anyone, it's rather cheap and the performance is phenomenal. And it's fully unlocked so you can even over-clock it if you're into that kind of thing.

Cons: Although it isn't the cheapest Pentium, it's definitely the best and worth every penny.

Other Thoughts: I am using it as a media pc in my living room and to be honest it's way too powerful for what I am using it for; I really like that it has so much more potential if I ever needed it.
