Heat spreader is solid, great looking RAM. The heat spreader is a little taller then the gskill ripjaws it replaced, probably about 5mm taller, not an issue for me, should work fine for most boards unless you have some low rider cpu cooler. Cons: Not the end of the world but RAM did not come with a case sticker like other big named RAM, I like stickers. Other Thoughts: I will be buying more Klevv RAM in the future, first time use of this brand was a good experience. motherboard. ASROCK 990FX extreme 3 with latest BIOS. Pros: Worked on first boot with no configuration needed, xmp profile was picked up by the bios and RAM was running at full speed.
