5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Worked out of the box with no issues posting. The motherboard initially set at 1600mhz, with a few clicks of the mouse loaded AMP profile and the memory runs smoothly at 1866.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: The Ram is running well.

Cons: The only probably I am having is that the ram seems to held back... its only running at 12800 instead of 14900 and the timings are 11-11-11-28. No loss of egg for this because I am sure it is just a setting tweek that I need to figure out.

5 out of 5 eggsSOLID

Pros: Works exactly as described, plays well with intel CPU, I dont overclock it beyond 1866 so I can't speak to its abilities there.

Cons: None yet, maybe price? Then again not everyone installs an unnecessary 32gb of ram into their machine.

5 out of 5 eggsFast RAM, Nothing More, Nothing Less

Pros: Plain and simple RAM, with plain and simple heat spreaders. This RAM out performs, all others by far. I wouldn't buy anything else, unless the other RAM manufactures stop focusing on bling and start focusing on performance. No ugly fins to work around.

Cons: Weak packaging, but your new RAM will be OK.

Other Thoughts: I am getting tired of all of the flashy useless bling that most computer component manufactures are adding to their components. For the people who want adult rigs, this stuff is for you. If you like the bling, I challenge you to a computer dual, because if you focus on performance, you will always beat bling.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's fast, and has a large capacity, free 6GB RAMDisk

Cons: BIOS set it to 1600 out of the box. Quick change in settings fixed that. Not the slickest looking memory.

Other Thoughts: No issues at all starting it up. The BIOS did default it to 1600 on the auto setting, but a quick changed bumped it up to 1866. I used the free RAMDisk software to set up a 6GB RAM disk to put temp files and such. Nice and fast.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 8-core 4.0 GHz
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

5 out of 5 eggsReliably fast...

Pros: Overally having used this memory for some time, I am quite pleased that it hasn't caused any defects with my PC. I can't say the same for other memory brands I've used where I'll get blue screens or random reboots after having only changed the memory. It operates at the frequency and latency it advertises and fortunately operates in the background without a second thought from you.

It fit fine in my Asrock motherboard slots without re-configuration of my water cooler, that's a bonus. My memory score in Windows is .1 shy of being perfect, I'll take that as plus as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with the memory.

Cons: The packaging I will say is horrid. It came in a clear package, tilted at 45 degrees each with no protection separating the sticks... For this price, it better dang well come with some protection next time. Its one thing to do minimalist packaging and focus your efforts on the product, but taking it to the extreme is another thing. Fix that.

Other Thoughts: Buy this memory and forget about it, or you could buy other memory brands and spend your time trying to figure out good latency/cas timings while fighting BSODs... Your choice.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sleek design, small heat spreaders and easily fit into cramped spaces.
AMP and XMP profiles for easy BIOS configuration.

Cons: MB refused to POST with the AMP profile and XMP continually froze. Bumping up the voltage helped, but the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX GEN3 R2.0 MB (BIOS 2005) was very unstable at 1866. 1600Mhz was rock solid and had no problems.

I updated to BIOS version 2103 and was able to boot with the AMP profile, but still had stability issues. Bumping the voltage helped, but still unstable.

Other Thoughts: It is a good product and I really wanted to make use of the AMP profile, but I ended up sending them back.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Form Factor

Pros: Fits in my MSI X79a-GD45 Plus motherboard without needing to remove the oversized CPU heatsink or avoid using particular DIMM slots.
Provides a very noticeable boost in system performance upgrading from one 8GB stick of PC3 12800
Scores a maximum score of 7.9 for memory operations per second in Windows Experience Index.

Cons: Packaging is not the best,
Paper box provides no support and both modules were loose within the plastic case. Shaking side to side made the modules impact each other. As well as one corner of the PCB had slipped to a higher ledge than the rest of the plastic backing so a sharp impact from above could chip or crack the PCB. That's a real possibility since they were shipped in a bubble envelope.

5 out of 5 eggsJust BUY It

Pros: Ridiculously fast RAM without being bulky or overly complicated (unnecessary fins, LEDs or odd gimmicks). It's straight forward and fast, and doesn't try to play up the "gamer" card EXCEPT where it counds: performance. Memory was benchmarking with reads at 21,365 MB/s, writes 22,448 MB/s over MaxxMEM (1.99). No issues, just pure speed!

I've seriously not been this happy with a single product in a long time. My system's been running it solid 24/7 since I installed it, folding@home and gaming... flawless stability.

Cons: NONE! Seriously, none.

Other Thoughts: These DIMMS made me realize just how SLOW my old RAM was (15,076MB/s reads, about 33% slower). RAM was testing on an X79 platform. Worked beautifully.

Also a plus: packaging was easy to open and waste was somewhat minimal. No risk of cutting fingers on evil blister packs.
