Pros: reads x.m.p profile 1 and 2 on my p6t deluxe v2.

Cons: sets c.p.u b clock to 143

Other Thoughts: probably need to manually o.c to get c.p.u faster

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: na-couldn't load OS.... failed on memtest86

Cons: 2 sticks out of the 3 DOA, I RAN these sticks on MEMTESTx86 3.5 and they failed at 5% errors:22 on stick 2 and 32 on stick 3. Tried to load windows 7 on my backup system and my new evga x58 classified which works w/my other set of gskill ram, and failed during installing windows.

Other Thoughts: Nice ram 1 stick worked great, if all 3 worked fine I'd be happy and give it 5 eggs, but now I gotta pay for shipping back and wait till the new set comes in.
Backup sticks are gskills that go nicely up to 1866mhz on the same boards.

5 out of 5 eggscon on this ram

Pros: I can't believe some people actually say their tech knowledge level is high then say some of the things they do.
Ok I'm trying to be nice so I'll be helpful...
First of all if you are overclocking in the first place you should really really really do some research, the fact that you didn't then whined about the heat of the 2000 sticks tells me you don't have much it experience at all.
1. of course 2000 is going to run hotter than 1333. The cpu is only rated for 1066 so whether you are overclocking your cpu, you are overclocking your ram. They have this wonderful thing called a ram cooler... in fact kingston has one specifically matched for the hyperx series because it's aimed at the i7 series which most people are buying to overclock with... See Kingston did their homework...
2. I can't believe some of the other comments some people make in here either.

Cons: First of all, the memory does nothing to the cpu, the increased heat of the cpu is due to the increased heat in the case, due to your ram heating (which if you knew anything you'd add a ram cooler) Intel isn't really suggesting you to do anything with your cpu/ram. The memory controller chipset in the i7 is set to 1066. So that is most mobo's default at 1066 and then you work your way up, unless you oc then it pushes the ram speed to different parameters anyway.
3. Your comments about dropping to 1333 on your cpu ram is rediculous since video cards work off gpu vdram which doesn't even work with pysical ddr ram.
Even cheap cra**y older video cards that suck off ram from the mother board don't really rely on the extra ram for fps performance anyway they get most of that from the cpu.
It's no wonder some of the guys at the local pc parts store want to slap some buyers
Don't kevet** at Intel or Kingston for something you don't even understand the most simple thing about

Other Thoughts: I really hate that just anyone can make comments in here without really knowing a darn thing about what they're droning about.

5 out of 5 eggsgood ram for OC'ing but adds more heat to CPU

Pros: memory runs at 2006 (1003) using XMP on my Asus Rampage II extreme

Cons: at XMP 2000 speeds added 20-30 degrees Celsius in games to my i7 920 with stock fan/heatsink 45* idle 65* in game, and made system lock up at times.
due to added CPU heat or mem overvolt which is now in the CPU's.
remember when building intel recommends mem speeds 800-1066 for the i7. i am now running mine at 1333 (667) and temp has droped to 46* Celsius in games and is ALOT more stable and am only loosing 5 FPS on a asus ati 5850

Other Thoughts: the heat issue is not the memorys fault its intels so i gave it 5 eggs

5 out of 5 eggsVery good ram.

Pros: Ram will do advertized speeds of 2000mhz and run @ 1600mhz on 6-7-6-18-59 1T timings.
Some of the best ram i have owned.
I highly recommend this ram to anyone looking for a fast set.

Cons: Price is a little high but you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and Fast

Pros: Runs great first time out of the package. Very easy to overvclock using XMP. Running on my ASUS Rampage Gene II mATX mobo in an Antec Skeleton case just fine. ASUS ROG utilities made it easy to push this stuff well past 2300MHz. Can't wait to buy another 6GB!

Cons: out of stock!

Other Thoughts: Really nice to avoid DOA and clocking headaches!!

5 out of 5 eggsWorked right out of the box

Pros: Very fast.
Installed in Asus P6T v2 Deluxe, selected XMS Profile 2 and it immediately ran without problems on 2000MHz.

Cons: Not really cheap...

5 out of 5 eggsSolid!

Pros: Very fast and very stable! Increased voltage levels to OC RAM from 1033mhz to 1866mhz and it's stable and FAST!

Cons: Increasing voltage to achieve 2000mhz+ can be damaging to your CPU, so says Intel. Sticking with 1866... is scarey fast and very stable
