5 out of 5 eggsvery fast and stable ram

Pros: cheap. fast. looks cool in my asus mobo (blue on blue).

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i would recommend buying two of these for a total of 4 GBs. 2 gigs is enough but it is always nice to have that extra little bit.

MY RIG:

MOBO:ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO
CPU:AMD Athlon II X4 640

5 out of 5 eggsGR8

Pros: Kingstong Hyper X DDR3

Heatspreaders

worked immediately no hassle

Cons: the board i bought doesn't support the 1600mhz clock speed without overclocking, the system is working stable @ 1333mhz of course i knew this when i bought the system . for the price difference it didn't make much sense

using a TA785G3 HD (don't have the time to play with the settings to get system running stable @ 1600mhz esp when am using a cheap psu

Other Thoughts: building for a customer and he will be happy with the performance out of these babies, also bought this for him to use and later on be able to upgrade to 4GB by buying another pair of these D:

ps. of someone could save me the hard work of setting up the ram timming with all the setting for the TA785G3 HD to have the memory running @ 1600.mhz not referring to the 9.9.9.27

5 out of 5 eggsGreat At 1066

Pros: Absolutely none!!

Cons: What cons?

Other Thoughts: My board defaults the speed on this memory to 1066 BUTTT... MY system is running faster than I expected. I probably won't increase the speed, unless I oc. Would definitely recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsForget Win7 index

Pros: RAM is great. Always had good luck with Kingston RAM

Cons: Could be cheaper?

Other Thoughts: Win7 index rellies a lot on the CPU cache, not the external RAM. My computer with a Phenom II x3 scores much higher than the other one with an Athlon II x4 even though both are running at 3500mhz. The Phenom computer has 4gb of DDR2 800. The Athlon II computer has 2gb of DDR1066 ( but scores way lower on the memory index ).
BTW my new 5770 crossfire pair score 6.0 and 6.0 ( in the Phenom setup ). My old single 4770 scores 7.4 and 7.4 in the Athlon setup. So don't put too much stock in the index thing.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for buck but..

Pros: Great ram for the $.. Has been working wonderful.. I think I need more!

Cons: I am only receiving a 5.5 score in Win7x64 in ram test. I've manually changed the latency to 9-9-9-27 and volts to 1.75 the cpu(phenom x4 925) is OC slightly to 2.9-3ghz, ram is at 1680mhz. Still getting 5.5 same as if I had it running at 1333mhz everything set auto....

Other Thoughts: I am not sure if Win7x64 test is giving me low scores because my system only has 2gigs of ram in it. That seems to be my only other conclusion. Any insight from anyone would be great. Other than that ram is running stable at 1.75vlts 9-9-9-27 at 1680mhz..

5 out of 5 eggsShiny ram

Pros: Ram worked fine with my motherboard ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard.
Was able to set it manually at 1600Mhz using bios options.

Cons: None noticed... never had a problem with Kingston Ram.

Other Thoughts: Nice low profile heatsinks, fits perfectly in my tight micro atx case (hec Black 0.7mm Thickness SECC 7K09 Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case)
