Experience blinding speed in your programs and video games with blinding fast DDR3 1600 SDRAM. High-density Kingston HyperX memory is exactly what you should give your system for the boost it needs to help reduce loading times and get you back into the fight faster. You’ll also enjoy reduced data bottlenecks by taking advantage of dual channel technology on compatible motherboards. Heat management is always important for any PC builder and enthusiast. Kingston understands this concern, which is why each HyperX Series DIMM comes with a stylish heatspreader, which dissipates heat by exposing it to cool air over a greater surface area. The long heat fins ensure proper airflow and will look great in any case for your next LAN party. These DIMMs also operate at a cool 1.65V for better internal temperatures for overclocking versatility. Upgrade your PC at an affordable price with HyperX Series memory today!

5 out of 5 eggsVery fast

Pros: Very fast memory. Good timings, extremely stable.

Cons: My EVGA motherboard did not recognize the XMP profile for the timings, but the timings were manually changed very easily and held fine.

Other Thoughts: Kingston unfortunately no longer makes their 2000 mhz CAS 8 RAM, however these sticks actually outperformed those sticks in Windows Experience Index (for whatever it is worth) by 0.1

4 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: Works well, system picked it up right away on first boot of a build....

Cons: didn't recognize it as a 1600, but 1333..

Other Thoughts: havent tried to set the clock speed myself from 1333 to 1600 just left it at 1333 because I haven't really needed the full 1600 yet... but runs stable at 1333

3 out of 5 eggs0MG

Pros: good for intel boards

Cons: will not work properly for any amd boards. if you play any games or use big apps, then it will either crash the program and blue screen, or close out of it because it crashed.

Other Thoughts: this should only be used for intel boards. don't ask me why it worked fine in all of my intel boards, but man...it sure doesnt like all of my amd boards.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Ram

Pros: I bought this with the other 1600mhz kingston ram that has the larger heatsinks. Ordered the wrong memory twice. Called Kingston about 8:30 am EST time and they answered right away. They told me that the only difference between the models is the heatsinks, and that they have the same exact timings. Wouldn't run at 8 8 8 24 T1 at 1600mhz without errors in memtest without increasing NB voltage by .050 and upping dram voltage to 1.70 as per kingstons recommendations.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Alot of people have said kingstons' technical support sucks. But they are really helpful on the phone, I never like to wait for an email reply anyway as it takes a long time to troubleshoot. Running rock solid at 8 8 8 20 1T 1600mhz 1.70voltage.

5 out of 5 eggsLove the HyperX

Pros: High speed, easy to overclock, heat sinks and spreaders actually help with the overall system temperatures.

Cons: You end up paying a slight premium for the "HyperX" brand...

Other Thoughts: I've been using HyperX RAM for over a year now in multiple configurations and it's been great across the board. The technical specs are published on the website and configuring it to run at maximum performance is a breeze.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable

Pros: After buying PQI and OCZ ram in succession for my last build, and having problems with both I decided to go with the trusty name brand in Kingston. I haven't been let down. Memtest produced zero errors.

Cons: This wasn't a con for me, but the heatsink is very large. Depending on how your motherboard is set up it may block slots.

Other Thoughts: This is ddr3 1300 that is overclocked to 1600. Even so it runs flawlessly at 1600 on my MSI NF980-G65. I will definitely be buying another 4 gigs later.

5 out of 5 eggsKingston is great

Pros: It works just perfect. I plan on buying another 2 gb soon.

Cons: The only issue I had was getting my m4a79t Deluxe to run it at 1600. But that isn't really worth noting as a con because it's an easy solution and pertains to my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I'm very partial to Kingston and this product just reinforces that behavior.
