had a bad set, twice :(
- Pros: great looks, all previous kingston ram has been fantastic
- Cons: I bought these to try them out on my oc pc and both sets that i got had one bad ram stick
- Other Thoughts: I still gave them 3 eggs because as i said it was only the last two sets i got that were bad and i know sometimes you get a bad stick, i took away 2 eggs because it cost me a lot of time returning the ram and testing the other ones. Great company i just caught two bad sticks, great for normal use, but you may want to look at different version for OC.
woot for ram
- Pros: IT WORKS!!! PERFECTLY!!! LIKE IT SHOULD!
- Cons: IT WONT MAKE ME TOAST IN THE MONRINGs?!!
- Other Thoughts: All in all i got this because no 2x2gb sets were available at the time. but with what i do i dont need too much more. so maybe i'll try to throw in a single 2Gb stick in my remaining slot and roll with 5. i've always used Kingston and this is my first time trying the hyperX line. but i've never been let down.
Good, cheap memory
- Pros: It's a great deal and all sticks work perfectly. I can now finally finish Crysis without excessive lag.
- Cons: None, other than the fact that my BIOS won't allow me to overclock, which is no fault of the memory itself
- Other Thoughts: These are perfect for i5's and i7's if you don't already have 6GB. Anything more is just excessive. At this price, you can't really go wrong.
