5 out of 5 eggsIt's Kingston, what do you expect?!

Pros: -Love the packaging
-Low profile RAM
-Heatsinks on the RAM look better in person, much more glossy!
-Easy install
-Defaulted to 1600MHz
-Saw all 16gb upon start up

What can you say? This is Kingston RAM, one of THE best producers for RAM, always have heard great things about Kingston, always bought from them, and will continue to purchase Kingston products!

Cons: -Motherboard setting made the RAM 1333MHz but one flip of a switch enabled a setting and it's been 1600MHz ever since

Not really a con(as it is the motherboard's setting) so still, 5 eggs!

Other Thoughts: Well like I said in the Pros, the RAM looks pretty plain in the picture but in person the RAM has a nice weight to it, the "HyperX" logo has a nice "glossy" look and feel to it. Love the design!

I bought this to go with my PC build which is primarily for gaming, video rendering/editing/capturing, picture editing, mapping, and soon 3D modeling.

My System Specifications;

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy!

Pros: Heatsink doesn't interfer with any CPU cooling that may hang over the RAM slots. Great buy for upgrading especially for dual channel usage.

Cons: Bought it at 99.99 instead of when I added it to my wishlist it was on sale for 89.99

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a client who is a gammer runnig dual screens. He noted and I quote "It made a world of differnce for loading SWTOR, Netflix, WMP and etc. Including any combination of them."

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Buy, Works As Advertised

Pros: - Heatspreaders look great
- Worked for me at DDR3-1600 speed with 9-9-9-27 2T timings (both with XMP profile and without) in a system with a Core i5-750 (set at 3.2 GHz)
-Price is unbelievable. I can't believe you can buy 16 Gigs of RAM for $80! I remember when it used to cost $200 for 1GB!!
-Made system extremely snappy and able to handle intense multitasking

Cons: - NONE, works great, very stable

Other Thoughts: The price fluctuates but honestly anything $100 or less for 16gb of RAM these days is a ridiculous steal. Get it while it's hot! I'm using it with the following-

MSI GD-45 Intel Motherboard, Intel i5-750 Processor, Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit

5 out of 5 eggsWorked out of the box

Pros: I paired this RAM with an ASRock Extreme4-m motherboard. ASRock put this RAM on the official compatibility list. It worked out of the box. What more could you ask for? The RAM is also short. No goofy fins or pointy bits causing clearance issues with fans and radiators.

Windows Experience Index (WEI) 7.9 score.

Cons: Motherboard initially detected the ram as DDR3 1333. Loading the XMP setting got it to run at the rated DDR3 1600 speed.

Other Thoughts: Learn how to use a RAM-disk if you're not doing heavy media editing or virtualization.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value, Great ram

Pros: Great price/performance ratio.
Great for 1155 or 2011 chipset.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I know these say "Quad" channel, but that just means they are matched up from kingston to make sure they play nice together. These can be used in a dual channel setup with no performance loss.

4 out of 5 eggsdoesn't run at 1600 on 990FXA-UD3

Pros: -Easy install
-Shiny Blue
-Low Profile

Cons: I installed this on a 990FXA-UD3 with the FX8120 CPU and the BIOS defaults it at 1333. I tried some some different settings and I can't get it to run at 1600. Maybe all I need is a BIOS update and some setting changes.

Other Thoughts: It's RAM... You can't really go wrong with it. I picked them because blue is my favorite color.

5 out of 5 eggsHyperX

Pros: The last 5 builds in two years, I have used the KHX1600C9D3... in different kit sizes but in the 4GB per stick model for a total of 19-20 sticks. They do overclock to the 1680's but I normally just run them at stock 1600 with the XMP turned on in the BIOS. The two pc's I do have overclocked I run them at 1650. All of the builds have been on x58a or z68 chipsets on Gigabyte boards.

Cons: They get hot at 1680 in tripple channel mode on a x58a chipset when all six slots are filled. They run cool in double-tripple at stock speeds.

Other Thoughts: In the memory burn testing I have done, they have all passed. I'll continue to use this type until a higher speed becomes the standard on motherboards. I use these on my CADD workstations at home and work. That should say a lot.

4 out of 5 eggsUnbeleivable Value!!

Pros: Typical Kingston, amazing!! Memorys XMP profiles are great, will easily run @ 7-7-7-22 @ stock voltage.

Cons: Kingstons minimal packaging with an inexperienced packer at newegg could have been an issue but all is well. Pay the xtra for standard shipping, mine was in a plain bubble envelope and the packaging got crushed, should have been shipped in a box.

Other Thoughts: Still an unbeatable value.
