No need to choose between high performance and low power consumption. The Kingston HyperX LoVo delivers the best of both worlds - the speed craved by DIY professionals and the energy saving demanded by power conscious users. LoVo maximizes the abilities of a low-voltage module for extreme performance (up to 1600MHz) — minus the big surge in your electric bill. Also, decreased heat generation means slower fans for a quieter rig. LoVo offers killer speeds and greater stability for the long haul. Basically, you can have your cake, eat it and still smush it in your buddy’s face.

  • newegg Low Voltage With 1.35V voltage rating, the Kingston HyperX LoVo memory module consumes less power therefore resulting in less heat generation and diminished noise level, ideal for HTPC, eco-geek and other power-conscious customers.
  • newegg DDR3 1600 This Kingston HyperX Genesis KHX16LC10K2/16X memory is rated at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-27 timing to deliver up to 12.8GB/s bandwidth per channel to meet the evolving needs of today's operating system and applications.
  • newegg Advanced Heat Sink The high quality green heatspreader design helps quickly and evenly dissipates the heat for better system reliability and robustness, as well as greater overclocking potential.

5 out of 5 eggsGood memory

Pros: 1.35V, XMP profiles are recognized by mobos, Kingston has rock solid support, the modules are relatively low profile and don't interfere with CPU coolers

Cons: n/a for now

Other Thoughts: I have two sets of these modules, one on Asus p8h77-I, the other on Gigabyte H77N-WIFI (another mini iATX). CPUs are i3-3225. Win 8 Pro 64 bit on both.
To the person below: you are doing sth wrong. My exact same system is rock solid. There is no reason to have crashes in games but not when not loaded, if the memory was a problem. Mine are running intel integrated GPU. You probably have something overheating. Mine are in Lian Li PC-7, which is VERY small NOT ventilated case, yet nothing overheats.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's Kingston HyperX
Low Voltage
Low profile

Cons: Wouldn't run at rated speed

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a build using Windows 7 Pro 64bit and ASUS P8Z77-I mini-ITX system using the Core i3 3245 processor.
Using XMP profile #1 (1600) in the BIOS resulted in the advertised speeds of 1600 MHz, 9-9-9-27 timings and 1.35v.
The memory passed 7.5+ hours of Memtest86+ but would crash/reboot constantly in Windows.

Using XMP profile #2 (1333) worked fine, 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 1.25v. Passed 4+ hours of Memtest86+, windows didn't crash/reboot and games ran fine.

I was very disappointed that I had to RMA these sticks due to not being able to run stable at advertised speeds.
This is my first problem with Kingston Memory, hopefully I just received a bad set as that can and does happen.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM, will buy more

Pros: Installed a few of these kits recently. Rock-solid stable on Intel X77 and H77 boards. If you read the detailed specs, a lot of the Intel boards will only support 1600 IF.. the voltage is 1.35. Hence the marketing lingo.. LoVo.

Cons: None so far.
