3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Got it before prices went crazy!
It does work

Cons: I'm not sure why but on my MSI FM2-A55M-E33 I am only getting 1333mhz instead of the 1600 that I should have so the obvious -2 eggs...
Voltage is set to 1.65 so maybe it has something to do with running windows xp?

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Price, Reliability, Aesthetics

Cons: Higher than typical voltage (1.65V), Heat

Other Thoughts: My value-built entertainment PC has been running with this RAM for 5 months without a single hiccup; no system errors at all. I've successfully overclocked this RAM just to test it's capability and it seemed to run stably. As I'm only using a Phenom II Deneb, my system doesn't benefit from the full 1600 MHz anyway. The one thing that I was hesitant about when purchasing this RAM was its higher than typical voltage (1.65V). This hasn't really been much of a problem, though. The RAM does run slightly hotter than 1.5V DIMMs, but if you're buying this value RAM, you probably aren't looking to build an overclocking beast. I definitely recommend this RAM if you can get a good deal on it. I'm going to be ordering another set.

System:
Corsair Builder Series CX500 V2 PSU
AS Rock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ MOBO
AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition (Deneb)
[This RAM]
XFX Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 GPU
WD 500GB SATA II HDD

2 out of 5 eggsOne bad stick

Pros: Fast speed and nice latency, and for a good price too. One of the sticks performs fantastically, just as advertised.

Cons: One stick went bad within two weeks of light use causing BSOD.

Other Thoughts: At first both sticks came fully functional, Memtest86+ passed twice without error on a system which already worked. Two weeks later in the machine this ram was intended for, unexplainable BSODs, startup repair failed several times (because the memory kept failing the repair) and memtest/windows memory diagnostic came back failed when running on one of the two sticks. Tried changing speed/latency/voltage but got nowhere and eventually broke down to buy another stick.

1 out of 5 eggsConstant BSOD

Pros: low price, brand name

Cons: Constant BSOD. Memory test fails within 5 secs after it started. Replaced with a pair of Corsair (same specs) I have running on another system and test showed no error and no more BSOD.

Other Thoughts: So the low price in the pros now is really no longer a pro since I had to pay to RMA. I've been building systems and buying from newegg for over 10 yrs and this is one of the few times I experienced memory errors. Kingston is supposed to be high quality but these memory was made in China so maybe that's the problem. I think Kingston just put their name on a low-quality product.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this Ram Kingston Rules

Pros: I love the look of the Hyper x blue.
Right out of the package worked.........
I bought my first Kingston Hyper x Blue in August and that worked right out of the package too.
The price was right for this Ram And stores are way to high in price.
As I move around alot in North America.
In Canada I try Newegg.ca and it was harder to get stuff from them as everything you have to pay for shipping and handling fees.
Plus change of address to was a big problem but your account stays the same.
NewEgg Store is the best place for me and have them with Kingston is awesome love there rames and I would buy this ram over and over again.

Cons: The only thing is wrong with Newegg is when it's free the shipping is slow.
Same thing with E-Blast it takes between 5 & 9 days to reach me in ILS.
And the other thing is wrong is when it comes by UPS they don't knock or ring your bell.
They leave it on your door step or in mailbox even between your doors.
So Newegg the reason I think products gets broken are because If weather is bad product is bad.
it could sit in the cold at 33f or even colder so when customer gets it, it's cold and damp.
When you have a date for product to be at home it's never their on time it could be a day late or even earlier So people always try to be there when it arrives.
And yes knock on wood never had a problem yet always there to meet my Items at the door.

Other Thoughts: Well I never had a problem with my stuff.
Yes Newegg needs to find ways to not let the Dampness in to the products.
With the postle service and UPS always leaving the Electronic products outside in the Heat or the Cold and even in the rain leaving product Broken or even theft .
And UPS you need to Ring or knock on doors because My Brother works for UPS Canada and he a tech trainer for all over the world with training drivers.
If person not home send product to your warehouse or store so people won't have broken Products.....
GO! Newegg Go!
