5 out of 5 eggsThis ROCKS

Pros: An SSD hooked up to the USB3 port.
Average write speed is about 130 MB / Sec.
Small drive that can fit in your pocket.
Low power...No power cord, just USB cable.
Rugged as in throw against the wall or drive over it with a truck.
No drivers to install, just plug it in.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I use this drive and a larger 1.5 TB USB3 drive and then put a SSD in the laptop and live is good.
Great way to keep company assets encrypted and on your person to lesson chance of theft or loss.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: Fast, cool-running, fast.

Cons: large, good thing it has a cable.

Other Thoughts: It took a while to find a laptop with built-in USB 3, but now that I have one it is a breeze to transfer movies, files, etc. from my desktop USB 3 and play them on my laptop.

3 out of 5 eggsnot so fast

Pros: bought this to do fast data transfers for backup between desktops without needing to load drivers. It does work without special drivers, just plug and play and it looks like another drive in windows explorer.

Cons: A have an enhanced usb 2.0 controller in my machine, but am only getting a dismal 22 mbps write rate on moving 80 GB of data (took an hour). Not what I was hoping for.

I think it must be optimized for usb 3.0, and has problems with the slower ports.
